They need to remember, whoever is writing it, that in 2001/2002, the old dining hall building was being torn down, so they can center the new show in there, a new building. The dining hall can be re-named Mrs. Garrett's dining hall, after her recent passing.


Blair wanted to have children as of November 2001. So let's say her kids she had go there now and have the last name Warner. Even if Lisa Whelchel doesn't want to be on it, they can say she and Tad are living elsewhere while the kids are at the dorms. The new writers also need to keep in mind that since 1988, Eastland went co-ed. So it's now a boys and girls prep school.



I think that's all they really need to do. Even if none of the former cast came back.

I doubt Nancy, Mindy, or Kim would appear. I think, for the most part, they've put those chapters of their lives behind them.

I bet Julie or Felice would do it, if asked. They could be the mothers of Eastland students.
