For those of you who have TCM, they're having their annual Summer Under the Stars thing going on. There is no Robert Stack day, but a few of his movies will be shown on August 10th, and the 23rd. More info here:

I love Robert but whenever I see him in a movie, I can't help but think something is wrong because he's not talking about a wanted criminal, or a missing person, or a homicide, and I have to stop the film and watch unsolved mysteries for a while. Am I the only one?

He's hilarious in Baseketball. And he did provide a voice in Beavis and Butthead Do America

BASEketball is by far my favorite movie where Robert Stack has a cameo. He's also in the steaming pile that is Caddyshack II, but he's so over-the-top and villainous in that movie that it's one of my guilty pleasures...

Now I know what I'm watching before I go to bed tonight! :)

Looks like i picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

definitely not doing him justice, but airplane for me. I love it when he's beating up people on his journey into the airport. Need to re-watch Baseketball though.
