Does anyone else in here subscribe to the Golden Girls newsletter from www.lifetimetv.com ? I was just curious...

I'm subscribed to the Golden Girls newsletter.

I just joined recently. What exactly does the GG newsletter consist of anyway?

I did a few months ago, and have never gotten anything from them....

I also subscribed awhile ago and still have not received anything.

It's been fairly infrequent lately... I would say just hold tight and it will show up...

It's a neat little thing, but nothing too major.

I still get one, but they're not that interesting. I need to "cancel my subscription."

Lifetime's GG newsletter used to be pretty good. Now it's just pitiful. It used to have information about what the actresses are currently up to, and include some cool photos, and actress sightings (letters from people)--and it came out once a month.

Now it comes out once every few months and is basically just a reminder to watch the show. They might include a letter or two from someone about why they like Golden Girls and advertise a new game at Lifetime. :rolleyes: They had a good thing going for a while, but it has completely gone downhill.

Yes, the Lifetime newsletter sucks. I feel like emailing them and finding out what the heck is going on. They should do some updates...

Aw, thanks!:) I got really busy with mid-terms and schoolwork, then I was on spring break last week and went to Miami (to see Rue, lol). Now it's back to the old grind.

But yes, Lifetime's Golden Girls newsletter does suck. That's the only way to put it, lol.

Speaking of the devil! :angryfire (lol) Lifetime sent out a GG newsletter today. As usual, it's pretty sparse. No updates or anything, just an advertisement for Lifetime's new magazine and a few letters from people about why they like the show. It's really disappointing because when LT first started it, there were updates on what the actresses are currently up to, as well as some cool photos (like Rue and Bea at PETA events, etc.).

Well, then maybe what we all need to do is flood Lifetime with information about the show. If they seem to comment only from viewers, then we need to let them know how we feel...

I'd encourage people to sign up for it, because it will provide information on the upcoming retrospective.

I just asked Lifetime what is up with the Golden Girls newsletter..hope I will get a personal response and not a computer generated one. I also told them to add more GG games on the site maybe a "Who said that" game or something like that...anyone have any suggestions for games on GG that they would like to play....maybe if we all write Lifetime about the newsletter and make suggestions about games they may add more.

Yeah, I agree with all of you. I signed up for Lifetime's Newsletter too and I never recieved anything. I before got emails from the other newsletters, but I've never got a GG newsletter. I will maybe suggest more games. Lifetime definetely needs more entertainment!!!! LOL.:happyface :wave: :talk: :lol: :crazy:

I agree they do need more games. I like to play the game where you seat people around the table but they need new prettier colors...hehehe!

Maybe we could come up with some new ideas for GG Games on Lifetime.

I had suggested they have a "who said this" game? Can you think of any others that could be fun?
