Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know I'm not around much because it's becoming even harder to see. My eyes can't handle reading anything lengthy anymore.

I want to thank TJ. I'm going to look into a program called JAWS. JAWS a text to speech program. The research will be hard as I'll have ot read to learn and find out more about it, but am grateful to have it suggested to me . I do know that it's JAWS a software program with a robotic voice. I currently have Zoomtext [a large print software program), which is quite expensive and I think JAWS is even more expensive.

I also want to thank Janice, my BFF, for understanding. She kindly lets me send her e-mails in large print. I used to always try to resize to be considerate to other since they don't need 18, 36 or 72 point font, like I do.

Hi FTF!

You might want to consider trying NVDA, which is a free screen reader. Link to the download: https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda

Jenny, I hope things work out with whatever you do. That JAWS program sounds promising albeit very pricey. We'll all miss you here, but as your official BFF™, you're only a phone call away. xo

What is JAWS by the way?

JAWS is a computer screen reader program for Microsoft Windows that allows blind and visually impaired users to read the screen either with a text-to-speech output or by a refreshable Braille display.
