Glad that ME-TV showed all 12 seasons in order. The last two being so rare. From what I am reading most of the episodes sounded pretty good.

MeTV is the first network to run the entire series of M3S from beginning to end. Nice to see them do that.

They also were the first network to rerun “Petticoat Junction” from beginning to end, outside of its original network run, and they are currently doing the same for “Bonanza”. Both of these series have had syndication packages that didn’t contain the entire run.

Today was only the first day but I am loving it so far! It is so cool to see the oldest episodes with Bub and the boys at their youngest and none of the female family members in the picture yet. Today's episode was absolutely terrific and makes one realize why this show was such a hit from the get go.

I have to give kudos to Stanley Livingston. As young Chip he was quite an accomplished actor, so natural and funny, and cute too.

I know they are a while off since this was just the first episode of season one, but I am really looking forward to those early Ernie episodes as well. Was there ever a cuter child actor than Barry Livingston as little Ernie? I absolutely adore him as a little boy.

Before M3S he was on Ozzie and Harriet (as was Stanley). He started on M3S in season 4, and for awhile they tried to portray him as being Chip's age. That ended in the sixth season.

I will be watching tomorrow morning as I have a morning shift at work and will be up at that time ! It will be nice seeing the very old eps. again with Bub and Mike! And Robbie and Chip so young in Bryant Park!:) Seems like a whole different show than it became in the last few seasons!;)

This show needs more than one episode a day. At the rate it’s going, it is moving slow as molasses with all the episodes it has. Try need to show at least two like they were last summer but four would’ve even better

I agree ! A show that has this many seasons really should have at least two eps. a day! ;)

Yes, two would be great. Twelve years of episodes at this rate will take months and months to go through. They are showing two episodes a day of "Leave it to Beaver" right now and that show only lasted what, five or six years?

I first saw Barry Livingston (Ernie) on The Lucy Show, in which he played Mr. Mooney's son Arnold. His character was the unfortunate recipient of a free, home haircut courtesy of Lucy.:(

Yeah! And as much as I love Leave it to Beaver. They have been showing two eps. for the longest time now. I'd say cut that down to one and give My three sons two! ;)

Season 2 episode 4, Lucy Gets Locked in the Vault. It's Gale Gordon's first appearance as Mr. Mooney.

Barry appeared in a couple of Lucy Shows. He wrote in his book that Lucille Ball took a liking to him after she caught Gary Morton, her husband, yelling at Barry for bouncing a ball off the outside studio wall and leaving marks. Lucy put Gary in his place and wound up having Barry do some of her shows. She wanted him to appear more, but he was getting busy on M3S, so the part of Arnold was recast.

Agree. By the end of the show's run it became unrecognizable compared to the early seasons. Also, when William Frawley died they should've had Bub die and then show flashbacks.

They would never have had Bub die. Beside when Bub "moved to Ireland" for unknown reasons, Bill Frawley was still alive. Aside from all that, in the good old days no one ever died, unless they were never on the show in the first place as per Steve's old lady.
