I have always wondered when Tide started using the "If It's Got To Be Clean It's Got To Be Tide" slogan in it's commercials? Because I can remember Tide's old commercials used the slogan "The Extra Action In Tide Means Dirt Cannot Hide" and it tells me that Tide was trying to attract more buyers in the 80's by changing it's slogan and image when the new slogan debuted on Tide commercials in the 80's
