How long do they usually stay up?

(I had a few since May 2nd, and they're starting to fall in between.)

when i have helium balloons they last for like...a month.

i sucked a helium ballon and passed out... i'll never do it again, no matter how funny it makes your voice sound!

Not long because I usually get my sister in a headlock and make her suck them. Too funny.

I've seen some people at my school suck the air out of helium balloons and talk funny. I've always thought of trying it myself. I'd be careful though to not pass out if I can help it.

Well, to prove to you how bored I am, I'm going to respond to this topic...

Hurry and suck the helium out of them before it's all gone! Seriously, it's pretty cool; just don't suck too much at one time. Your voice will be freaky high and squeaky...hehehe.

Undo where is it tied together at the end. Keep it closed tight until you put it in your mouth and then let some go into your mouth. Once the air is in there hold your breath and then just talk. If it's a normal size balloon you should be able to talk 'weird' for four or five times. It's fun;)

Untie the ballon, but don't let the air out. Put it up to your mouth like your going to blow it up, but suck in instead

LOL i know, really!!!!! I'd be kinda scared to try that....

i dont thinkso if u mix it with real air like every other breath. I inhale fog machine smoke then blow it in peoples faces but if u inhale to much ur head starts pounding and u like have to lie down. so u have to do it in moderation.

I DID!!! that's why i\'m scared to death to do it! I did, i passed out for like 2 seconds.....i sucked then hit the ground, didn't even get to enjoy the high pitched voice part!

Inhaling helium is so funny!
It was my best friends 21st birthday last week and she had a huge party at the rugby club and her parents had filled the entire hall with helium balloons. At the end of the night everyone just grabbed the balloons, untied them and started breathing in the gas. I was running around singing "We're the chipmunks........." in this really high pitched voice! :rotflmao:

I just did that today...it was fun...it was the second time I have ever did it...I'm easily amused.

Ok, when I was like 12 years old, I used to be addicted to helium balloons!! At the school dance when we were setting up for it, they had a helium pump and i would put my mouth up to it and make the helium go into my mouth. OMG, it was soooo fun!! It feels sooo cool if you get alot in your mouth. I've never fainted or anything, but if you try it, be careful. lol.

I bought a helium tank with Balloon just so I coudl suck out the helium! I love it! course, best of all, I get to run around the house driving everyone crazy going, " CHARLOTTE RAE AND LISA WHELCHEL RULE!!!!" and " I LOVE FACTS OF LIFE!" That really drives people nutso...which reminds me...if anyone finds a helium balloon in their yard... with a piece of paper attached to it, it's mine...I released it today from my trampoline...
