Unbelievable. First it’s Antenna TV and now this?

Might as well drop Laff, Cozi, and MeTV or just bring back Antenna TV, put that in its place instead.

It’s not just Boston. Decades will be replaced on most of CBS’ owned-and-operated stations in September.

It will be interesting to see how much longer it lasts. The original format - where they did not have a set schedule and varied based on the year being featured - failed. The current format is no different than the other classic TV diginets, and most of the shows they feature have been running on MeTV for years. It’s not a huge loss

I liked the old format because they showed some rarities. But the current format does not.

Oh really? So it’s not doing well at all then?

My guess is that it’s not, given the format switch, and now the loss of most of the CBS O&Os.

That's too bad. Seems like it had potential as well.

oh mo! I hope Philadelphia is one of the cities that's keeping it; I haven't heard anything. I enjoy watching ROWAN & MARTINS LAUGH-IN and THROUGH THE DECADES.

Supposedly in Philadelphia (and some other cities) it is being replaced by Start TV, which will air older CBS dramas after September 3. It is a CBS decision, not one made by FIOS. I like Decades, but the format took some getting used to. They air some good shows.

well, like I said I haven't heard anything so I'm hoping it's not true.

Are you KYW in Philly? Because that's on the list

The CBS Television Stations carrying the new network are: WCBS New York, KCBS Los Angeles, WBBM Chicago, KYW Philadelphia, KTVT Dallas-Ft. Worth, KPIX San Francisco, WUPA Atlanta, WBZ Boston, KSTW Seattle, WTOG Tampa-St. Petersburg, WWJ Detroit, WCCO Minneapolis-St. Paul, WFOR Miami, KCNC Denver, KOVR Sacramento, KDKA Pittsburgh and WJZ Baltimore.
Start TV will also be seen on cable outlets in each of those markets.

They've been continuing to show some seldom-seen shows, but mainly in the early morning hours. In recent months:

Annie Oakley
Life with Elizabeth
The Loretta Young Show
Mr. and Mrs. North
Movin' On
One Happy Family
Steve Canyon

For many of these series, I don't know of any other network that's aired them in years.

I am sorry to hear that Decades will leave my tv viewing. I like that station. Any station coming that will be similar??
