Has anyone on here ever been on the news? I wasn't, but my dad was a few years ago because flooding happened in the town that I live in and the local news crew came, they showed my dad helping to clean up from the flood.
I think he was also in the newspaper as well, but I am not 100% sure about that one.
Yes, I got interviewed in the 1990's as I was leaving work when they were in the process of closing the factory. I think I still have the interview on a vhs tape.

My dad might still have the VHS tape of when he was on along with the newspaper article, I'll have to ask him.

My dad was on the local news (in San Diego) quite frequently since he worked for the County; he was even on a local news station in Los Angeles.
I, on the other hand, have never been on the news (thank God:lol:).

I've been on the news a number of times, usually at some special event, such as a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral or a holiday parade. 1n 1985 I was interviewed by the BBC when I rode my 100th roller coaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in England. :D

Yes. When I was in school, we were making a newspapet and the news came to report about it. I was one of the students to be interviewed. This was in 2007.

During Christmas 1978 a local crew from Pittsburgh's ABC station filmed a story at a hospital about one of my brothers who was recovering from burns on his legs. I was filmed carrying my younger bro who was 1 at the time.
My mom and I were in the background on a story they were doing for art prize once.
My Dad was on the news years ago when he worked as a insurance claims adjuster for a story about preventing water damage due to winter ice storms.

last year on Christmas day I took my nieces and nephews to the outdoor skating rink downtown and the local news showed up - they couldn't resist getting some footage of my 6-year-old nephew the hockey star tearing it up and nearly taking out several people as he zipped around at top speed. I was in the background for most of it telling him to knock it off.
