I don't know her at all, but I'm just so sad that she was found like that. It makes me just want to cry out loud, but I can't. I hope they catch the S-O-B! I don't know if it's impossible, I hope one day, Chandra's Levy death should be avenged. For her family and freinds' sake, she will be missed. It would make me happy if you have to share your thoughts. Thank you.

She was so beautiful in those photos they shown us her.

True. I hope they find her killer too. She was too young to die. Wasn't she in her 20's? She really didn't have much time to actually live out life and experience it. You know what? Even if they don't find her killer, I'm sure the killer will live with the guilt for the rest of their life. Sometimes guilt is just enough punishment to punish somebody.

ditto. of course they're gonna have guilt on their conscience even if they kill people everyday because they're hired (which i don't know, i'm just saying...). i feel really bad for her parents though. but i'm sure they accepted her as dead a while ago.

I know. I feel bad for her parents too. When she disappeared, her parents probably had such high hopes that she would show back up. When the days start turning into weeks, and the weeks into months- I'm sure all hope started to vanish.

Even if someone hired somebody to kill her, how can they still look in the mirror? I don't know. I know when I do something wrong, my conscience eats at me and just eats at me until I feel like I'm 2 inches tall or something. It's a miracle the person hasn't came forward yet and admitted to the crime. I have a gut feeling though that this is going to be one of those unsolved mysteries that will take years to get it solved. I hope that isn't the case, but....

Have Washington DC police officially called it homicide?

It is a homicide............

Something doesn't seem right. I still feel that she did not die there. I could be wrong. Those tied up leggings. hmmm.... :(

I am a Calvinist and believe in Total Depravity. It does not surprise
me in the least that there are very evil people in the world who
do not have any moral compulsion in killing other people, even
complete strangers and do not have any difficulty looking themselves in the mirror.
In the end God will judge whoever the killer is even if the cops
are unable to find them.

It was no surprise at all to me. Nobody is missing for as long as she was without there being any sightings of her.

I also have a theory:

The first time the police searched the park the found nothing...right? Well, I believe the killer could possibly have put the body there after the police fully searched it. I mean, when's a better time to hide the evidence than a place where the police searched and ruled out that it would be there.

But, that's just my theory.

It's still very sad. She was too young to die. :(

He's a Congressman. Gary Condit.

I don't think he did it, but I'm sure he knows something about it.

Remember the days when this was new news, and the cameras were always outside of his house? How did he carry himself? He walked by them like a friggin' mafia boss' being arrested. Rather than welcome the cameras saying "Yeah, I'd like to find her. How can I help?" He ran. He certainly didn't carry himself like an innocent man.

The interview with Connie Chung: He was very evasive in his answers. Very. If you don't have anything to hide, then why not answer the questions in full? Hmmm.

He has a motive. Chandra was pushing him to leave his wife just before she disappeared/was murdered. Friends were reported as saying she wanted to have his baby. Obviously more serious about the affair than he was. What "better" way to get her off his back without making things messy in his marriage and career than to "have her offed".

He knows alot of people. People with power. People who would probably help him with "taking care" of her.

But, this is just my theory.

Prior to leaving the house she checked her computer for a map of the Kringle mansion not to far from the park.

I really hope they solve this case. It will be sad if they don't. :(
