Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the song Goodbye To You that Allison Smith sang with the Local Heroes in one episode. I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you.

I had MTV when it was very new, and I love that song.

The song "Goodbye To You" was written and recorded in 1982 by a New York band called Scandal. The song was written by band member Zack Smith. The lead singer of the band was Patty Smyth.

The song was released as a single. And it was also released on Scandal's self titled 5 song debut EP in 1982. The "Scandal" EP became the biggest selling EP in the history of Columbia Records.

The EP has never been released on CD.

However, the song "Goodbye To You" is available on the CD "Patty Smyth's Greatest Hits Featuring Scandal."

I love the song...one of my fav 80s songs...(the original)

You can find Allison's rendition on "The Band Singer" episode from early 1988...

I have a copy of the Patty Smyth and Scandal version of this song, but I would really like to get a copy of Allison Smith singing it. Any ideas on how that could be done...??

Hi guys,

I was going through some old VHS tapes of mine the other day and I ran across the very episode your talking about. It's the only Kate and Alie show that I have on VHS. I just digitally recorded it for my collection of old shows so I now have it on my hard drive. That song is awesome and Allison does a great job singing it. Anyone wanting a copy of the song let me know and I will send it.

I know how hard it is to come by the good old shows that we all grew up with and learned to love. I just recently got my hands on the entire Wild Wild West set from the 60's. I had all but 4 of the 104 shows previous to that but some were recorded with bad reception from the old antena days and now I at least have a good collection of all the shows. I will be digitizing them this winter.

That episode played yesterday (9 Aug) and I loved listening to Allison sing all over again. She has a beautiful voice and she really did that song justice.

Allison was fantastic as was the other two child actors of the show. That is what made this cast special because it went far beyond just Jane and Susan.

It's odd that no one (that I know of) airs it anymore. Do you have the DVD's?
