After staging an expensive show (https://www.tvtattle.com/item/Grammy-ceremony-in-New-York-City-is-proving-to-be-very-expensive-NXSLD4) in New York City this year, the Grammy Awards will be back at L.A.'s Staple Center in 2019.

Is it me or are there too many awards on television nowadays with the same old crew in attendance patting everyone else on the back in an unholy alliance with young nymphettes in wigs and the most scanty and shameless dresses, tears overflowing at the slightest stirring of emotion as standards drop yet again as they have done in every decade since the 1970s..

Los Angeles is primarly loyal enough to have the Grammys being broadcasted here just like it did to most other award show including the Oscars & the ESPYs.

The current eligibility period ends on September 30th. The nominations will be announced on December 5th and the awards themselves will be handed out on February 10th. What interests me is that each winner will be picked from eight nominees instead of five this time. :) :) :)
