In 1990 Lifetime Television debuted Rodeo Drive that was part of a game show hour that included Supermarket Sweep. Hosted by Louise Duart Rodeo Drive tested three contestants knowledge of celebrity gossip and started with a round in which a contestant picked a celebrity and then had to guess facts about that celebrity and after the winning contestant played a bonus round and if he/she won he/she won a shopping spree and returned on the show to win more money. Lifetime Television knew that game shows would be a hit for them and with the debut of Rodeo Drive who knew that Rodeo Drive and Supermarket Sweep would pave the way for other game shows such as Shop Til You Drop Born Lucky and Debt. It's really a shame that Lifetime does not show game shows anymore because if Lifetime would go back to it's game show roots and develop game shows like Rodeo Drive today. And another interesting fact about Louise Duart was that she was a singer in the group Captain Kool And The Kongs that was part of the Kroft Supershow in the 70's
