Here is an interesting game show surprise that many fans of The Chase might find surprising. Before GSN decided to become home to the American version of The Chase a pilot episode of The Chase was filmed and was supposedly made to air on FOX as a primetime game show and featured Bradley Walsh as host. The Chase's original design as shown in this unaired pilot episode was the same as the UK version and four contestants were gonna play and was gonna air on FOX in 2012 and Mark Labbett and Jeopardy contestant Brad Rutter were gonna be two of the Chasers in this version. But this unaired American version didn't go as planned and so The Chase was made in 2013 for GSN with Brooke Burns and as the late Paul Harvey used to say "Now You Know The Rest Of The Story". When you think about it do you think The Chase would've been a hit game show for FOX if the American version would've existed in 2012 rather than becoming a monster hit for GSN in 2013?
