CBS Fall Premiere Dates: "Murphy Brown"

The much-anticipated revival of "Murphy Brown" will debut Thursday, Sept. 27 at 9:30 pm, after the Season 6 premiere of "Mom".

I saw the previews for the Murphy Brown revival during Let's Make A Deal and it seems that CBS hopes that the Murphy Brown revival will be a hit when it debuts this fall. I am surprised to see Candice Bergen reprise her role as Murphy Brown because Candice brought a lot of humor to Murphy Brown when it originally came out in 1988 and it was because of Murphy Brown that Murphy became a popular name for baby girls and I hope that because of the Murphy Brown revival Murphy will be a popular girls name again. I also wonder if the Murphy Brown revival will have a new theme song too or revive the old theme song from 1988. If this Murphy Brown revival is a success maybe CBS will do a revival of Designing Women or Evening Shade in the future
