Hi TJ,
Users have the option to tag forum posts, but for posts before the upgrade, after typing in the tags and saving, the user receives a 404 error: page not found.
Can this be fixed?
I've tested this and you are correct about it not working for older threads. It only works for threads created after the upgrade (6/15). I will try to get some support to see if this is fixable.

I tested by adding a tag to this thread and it worked ok.. (No replies - 2009)

I get a 404 error when I try to tag this old thread.

I wonder if it has to do whether a thread has replies or not.

I just added a tag fine there....... I wonder if its only certain browsers??
Hmmmmmm
It doesn't work in Chrome or Firefox. This may be a styles issue between 3.5 and 3.8.11 .
If you click on the edit tags link and open that in a new window, you can edit the tags that way for older threads. You just can't edit it on the thread page or you get a 404 error.
Dude111, you probably don't have ajax enabled so you are going to a different page instead of staying on the thread.
You could edit the thread number on this and edit the tags in a separate window.

As a temporary fix, I've set it so the edit tags opens up in a new page instead of editing on the thread page inline using the ajax system.

Ahh that could be TJ. I have scripts disabled so most AJAX stuff would also be disabled......
