I wonder why the producers of Golden Girls never had Bill Macy, who played Bea Arthur's husband on Maude, guest star on Golden Girls say playing a date or boyfriend of Blanche's. That would have been a lot of fun. Macy was a great actor and it would have been interesting to see the interplay of them all on Golden Girls.
