View Full Version : Back on Logo - August 1st
M1chael 07-04-2018, 12:41 PM Going through my scheduled recordings and noticed that season one (!!!) is scheduled to begin at 11:59 PM on Thursday night July 12th, into what would be technically then Friday. Really couldn't believe it and had to look twice.
Svenfan1234 07-04-2018, 07:17 PM Too bad they'll be butchered beyond recognition.
tlc38tlc38 07-04-2018, 08:08 PM AWesome! Hope they pick up where they left off.
tlc38tlc38 07-05-2018, 10:44 AM Looks like they're starting with season 1 this time!
Svenfan1234 07-05-2018, 10:46 AM I wish Antenna would air it instead...:( It will probably be yanked again.
Kasey 07-06-2018, 12:58 PM I am hoping they at least air S2 as some of my copies look rough.
tlc38tlc38 07-06-2018, 01:10 PM As of now, only the first 8 episodes of season 1 are scheduled.
Svenfan1234 07-12-2018, 12:48 PM And it appears to be off Logo once again after those airings. What a crappy channel. It'll air tonight but then never again...
M1chael 07-26-2018, 09:23 AM It's A Living is scheduled for August 1st at 11:54 PM with a marathon into Thursday 8/2.
No specific episodes/seasons are listed. Just says It's A Living.
M1chael 07-27-2018, 09:11 AM The episodes updated on the Xfinity guide - they will be airing season two.
Svenfan1234 07-27-2018, 10:40 AM Better check again...Logo isn't airing it August 1st or 2nd according to their website. They're airing Too Close for Comfort instead.
So it's pulled from the schedule basically.
M1chael 07-27-2018, 11:37 AM Better check again...Logo isn't airing it August 1st or 2nd according to their website. They're airing Too Close for Comfort instead.
I'll go by the Xfinity guide than a website in this day and age.:lol:
I did before I posted that and I did after and it still shows it.
Kasey 07-27-2018, 11:55 AM I hope someone is recording these! Did anyone record Season 1? What were the running times?

Oh, then...idk. It might be airing August 1st but then after that never again. Logo is such a crazy channel that needs to get its act together if they're going to air shows like this, they'd better be uncut, not missing 6+ minutes of episode with retyped credits!
Hawkee 08-02-2018, 01:40 AM I double checked my Direct TV listings to see if It's A Living was returning to Logo tonight and it appears that Too Close For Comfort is gonna air instead. Why Logo chose Too Close For Comfort over It's A Living is beyond me

tvvideotrader 08-13-2018, 02:53 PM The season one and two episodes appeared to be in the 19-21 minute range.
tvvideotrader 08-13-2018, 02:55 PM Logo is scheduled to air the first 6 episodes of season 4 (1986-87) today (Monday 8/13/18) from 3:!5pm-6:35pm PT.
Kasey 08-14-2018, 08:09 AM The season one and two episodes appeared to be in the 19-21 minute range.
Thanks, so they're 2 minutes shorter than what TVLand had shown.
Svenfan1234 08-14-2018, 10:08 AM I wish Antenna TV would pick this show up. Yes, they'd crunch it, but they'd more than likely be the uncut versions, like Alice.
Kasey 08-14-2018, 12:33 PM Who knows, Antenna may pick it up in the future....here's hoping.

:yeahthat
If it isn't going to be released on DVD, at least Antenna could pick it up and air it uncut like Alice so people could make good sets for trading/sell.
tlc38tlc38 08-16-2018, 12:17 PM I've been enjoying watching this series on Logo. It's a fun show that's helped me get through a difficult time. I really do wish it'd come to DVD.

Yes, that why we call certain shows "Comfort TV". IAL is definitely one of those shows for me. Glad it's helping you.
Question: From what you've seen so far, which era do you prefer? The episodes with Lois (Susan Sullivan),with Maggie (Louise Lasser), or Amy (Crystal Bernard)?
tlc38tlc38 08-16-2018, 12:55 PM ^I like Amy.
M1chael 08-24-2018, 02:10 PM I love how completely sudden LOGO can change. It's A Living wasn't scheduled on Thursday morning. But on Thursday afternoon it's listed for today and Sunday.
