Theda Bara 06-26-2018, 09:23 PM Favorites: The Beatles followed closely by The Rolling Stones. I am also a fan of The Who and The Moody Blues.
Edison 06-26-2018, 11:03 PM Stones, Yardbirds, Animals, Herman's Hermits, Dave Clark Five, Kinks and Who am I forgetting...ah, yes...
Retro4Life 06-26-2018, 11:27 PM My Lord, how does one choose? Beatles, Stones, Yardbirds, Kinks and Zombies for me from this list, but also...Moody Blues, the Dave Clark Five..and I am sure others we have forgotten.
This type of list reminds me of how gobsmackingly great the 1960s was for music, particularly between 1964 and 1969. I ache to recapture that creativity again, but I know we never will.
Bonniegirl 06-26-2018, 11:43 PM For those of you who didn't vote for The Beatles!

There's no band called other, it's just other band/artist choices.
MrCleveland 06-27-2018, 07:32 AM I've picked almost everyone except Freddie and the Dreamers and Cilia Black...I never heard of them.
For My Others...
The Who
The Moody Blues (Denny Laine Era)
The Paramounts (Who later became Procol Harum)
Well, to quote proud American Homer Simpson while on a trip in England "America rules! Our Beatles are way better than your precious Rolling Stones!"
I love The Beatles and The Rolling Stones! The others I kind of just like.
Dude111 07-03-2018, 05:07 AM Too many to list!!

Well they were both from my part of the world. Freddie and the Dreamers were from Manchester:

Cilla Black had more substantial success. Having started out taking the coats from customers at the Cavern Club, Liverpool, she became a pop star in her own right and later in life she ended as a compere on the Blind Date television show. https://youtu.be/Qz_Rh3mkki8
Steve_uk 07-03-2018, 05:14 PM Much as I like the Bay City Rollers this song belongs to Dusty: https://youtu.be/DRLncsEC3LU
