The avant-garde science fiction animated TV series (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir2qcPwZFdQ) that first aired on MTV in 1991 as part of Liquid Television is being developed as a live-action TV series. Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis will write the script and executive produce the drama along with The Walking Dead's Gale Anne Hurd, who produced the 2005 live-action film Aeon Flux starring Charlize Theron. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the live-action series is set in a future dystopian state and revolves around a young assassin who teams with a group of biohacking rebels to save humanity as she becomes the hero known as Aeon Flux." The original Aeon Flux was created by animator Peter Chung.
