Not true at all. I won't expect Hogan for a while. Earliest probably this September, but I dobut that. I think they'll show Mork & Mindy and Lucy Show first.

I see they have Perry Mason in back to back hour slots, is it 2 of the old 1 hour shows or 1 of the newer 2 hour movies ?

These will be the 1 hour B&W shows because as far as I know, CourtTV still has the movies.

I wish they would make room for The Lucy Show and Mork & Mindy. Those two, especially the first one have been off the air nationally (i.e.: national network) for such a long time. I am very anxious to see both. My prediction is that The Lucy Show will be added in October (due to the show's 40th anniversary) and Mork and Mindy in November.

What about Heres Lucy I haven't seen that in years.

Facts of Life on Hallmark?!?! YAY!! ::jumps up and down::

I hope enough FOL fans that make up the Nielson family tune in and boost Hallmark's ratings. What a surprise! Although, I had a feeling that N@N lost the rights to air FOL a long time ago. I guess TVLand has leased the FOL movie or maybe it didn't come with Hallmark's package. Hopefully, the controversial eps. that never saw the light of day on N@N will finally air. Whether I like the show or not shows, in my book it's a sin to skip certain eps. Thanks pavanbadal for the timely news.

Are you saying that IDOJ isn't coming on 5 times a day anymore only 4. While Bewitched is coming on 6 times a day. And the FOL is coming on 2 times a day.

How could they do this to me? Just how? They've ruined the month of July! I'm so mad that I can't see straight. :livid: :rolleyes2 Oh my major, I'm in disbelief. I change my mind . . . Hallmark is NOT my favorite network. How could they add such a horrible show to their line-up: "The Facts of Life". Boo! I thought they were going to add "The Lucy Show" and "Mork and Mindy"? Well, I guess not anymore. Hallmark needs the facts of this horrible show: "Facts of Life" already has ruined a channel (Nick at Nite) and now they want to ruin there own? It doesn't make any sense. "The Facts of Life" DOESN'T belong on Hallmark, it just doesn't fit in with the rest of the shows. By the way, I would rather watch the 5th airing of "I Dream of Jeannie" than "The Facts of Life" anyday . . .

Sorry, but some people happen to like FOL. Just because you say it doesn't belong on there, doesn't means it true. The show hasn't been on the air regularly since June of 2001. And FOL brought up N@N's ratings, not bring them down. It was the #3 show. And if you don't like Hallmark, that's fine because I love it now. :D It's a great show.

Look, you still have four airings a day of IDOJ. FOL has been off the air for a year now. I think this show deserves some credit, I mean it ran 9 seasons. :)

FOL, I never seen the show but like once so who am I to judge it so I won't try to but right now I feel a little angry toward it. But I'm happy for FOL lovers that it is coming on again, because I know how much I wish that Dallas would come on. I already have resentment of the show "The Facts of Life" due to what it did to Nick at Nite and the former Nick at Nite shows that I used to watch. Did you know "The Facts of Life" replaced all three of these shows at ONE point: "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour", "Happy Days", and "Bewitched"? I'm not going to go any further in this tragedy but I will say "The Facts of Life" IS the reason why Nick at Nite airs what it airs in today's age.

Haven't you noticed that most of Hallmark's current sitcom programming are sitcoms from the sixties? It doesn't make sense why Hallmark is adding "The Facts of Life", an 80's sitcom, to the network. And please - - - Hallmark can add more sixties sitcoms that haven't been seen for ages such as The Addams Family as well as Mister Ed than FOL. Both Addams and Ed have been off the air LONGER the FOL. The Lucy Show has been off the air [nationally] LONGER than FOL. So you see, by adding FOL is just taking up space for rarely-seen 60's sitcoms that have been off the air LONGER than FOL. Besides, I think FOL has done enough damage for it's time.

To correct you, Happy days went from 1974 - 84, not a 60's show, but a 70's AND EVEN 80's. FOL is a 70's and 80's show too. So don't lie that Hallmart is a 60's station.

Well, this is pretty awesome! I've been wanting to see and TAPE FOL since I saw the fandemonium and this is great to see it on a good network. Hallmark Channel keeps getting better and better.

ALF was made from 1986 to 1990. Hart to Hart was from 1979 to 1984. Northern Exposure was from the 90s. Dr. Quinn was from 1993 to 1997.

LucyFan, you need to get your draws out of a bunch. Just because The Lucy Show isn't coming as early as FOL is, you get a dumb attitude over it. Now PB said that the Paramount shows were coming in the FALL. When you saw the subject line that said July 1, you shoulda known that the Paramount shows weren't in that sked. I think you need to get some major patience. And I mean some MAJOR patience. I mean, the FOL fans have the patience to wait till July 1. And to add to this, I read at the Lucy Show board that you have alot of episodes on tape through trade! So what in the world would it matter to you if the show comes or not?!?!?!?!?!? I think that you should be very happy that Hallmark is getting FOL. You keep saying that FOL ruined NAN.....not true. The moment NAN started airing Cheers and The Cosby Show is when they really changed. The first week of the reg. sked with FOL, it came only 3 times a night Mon-Fri. Four times night (along with the Brady Bunch) on Sat. nights. And no times at all on Sunday nights. But we have Cheers and Cosby who come four times a night at good times. Family Ties comes on four times, but the first two are bearly OK, and the last two are terrible. TC comes on only 2 times a night. AITF comes on four times, but the last two are terrible times. And the two TCs are terrible times. So if I were you, I'd shut up about FOL, because it brought ratings up. If anything, it's Cheers and Cosby that should get the bashings. I know that'll never happen, but it'd be great, in my opinion.

Don't be so hard on LUCYFAN. She just wants somebody to pick up her shows. And I don't think she is jealous of FOL just because it "got better ratings than The Lucy Show". Mabye she feels that when FOL began coming on N@N that the ratings went down because she stoped watching N@N and I'm sure she isn't alone. She just frustrated like I was and still am a little after I heard the news.

I agree. One can only take so mcuh of a show per day. And not to start anything, but I think the overload of IDOJ and Bewitched are just fillers until FOL and the Paramount shows come. I think by then, IDOJ & Bewitched will probably be reduced to at least twice a day. I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just stating a real possibility.

And Chris, M&M is a good show. Go ahead bash it, but LucyFan only cares about Lucy Show coming to Hallmark, even though he has a lot of the eps on tape. LucyFan, if I were Lucy, I'd be a shame to have you as a fan.....:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I also like both Bewitched and IDOJ, but they air several times during the day and have enjoyed good time slots (they've had their moment in the sun and then some). I would advise my fellow viewers of these great shows to come to grip wih reality. This fall there will be changes and these shows will lose some air time or may completely disappear from the line up altogether. Don't get mad, just record'em while you still can.

Although I am very happy that Hallmark is bringing back the Facts Of Life, I am still mad at them for not showing ALF on weekdays, like they did when it was Oddessey.


How could they put ALF only on weekends! When it was at its prime, it gave Hallmark they highest ratings they ever had!

Exactly! I used to be a HUGE fan of this show and it is the most popular on these boards, that's for sure. It may not be my favorite show but FOL deserves this they have been off long enough and I know that Hallmark will be getting the most ratings they have ever had, they'll probably have some many ratings that it wont "just" be a summer show. Yeah, I agree with Chris. Season 1 isn't the best season, but it def. picked up when they shrunk the cast down to the 4 main girls.

This is simply not true. The Lucy Show has been off the air [nationally] since 1996. It has gotten little exposure since then, therefore, people have been forgetting it year by year. I don't know about you, but in my opinion, The Lucy Show is one of the greatest shows ever and it deserves as much attention as any other show. That is why I'm so excited to see The Lucy Show air on a network because it will allow people to see it for the first time as well fans to relive the memories. And even though I have a lot of episodes of tape . . . it isn't the same as when it airs.
I disagree with your bashy statement about me as a fan of Lucy. I think she would understand and not be ashamed of how I feel. I think she would be flattered. But that's my opinion.

I think that you should be very happy that Hallmark is getting FOL. You keep saying that FOL ruined NAN.....not true. The moment NAN started airing Cheers and The Cosby Show is when they really changed.

Lucy Show comes on my independant station (which has lots of static). I understand where yur coming from, but if we went by the rules of the fact that you think Lucy Show should be brought back before FOL because it was off longer than FOL, they'd have a lot of shows in front of Lucy Show. Phil Silvers, Patty Duke, and many others would be on before them two. Lucy Show is a great show, but I think that FOL and it could make a really great afternon sked for Hallmark. Bewitched and Jeannie could be right there with them. And by the way, when FOL premeired on NAN, it didn't come on four different episodes a night. So therefore, Cosby and Cheers are the ruiners. Maybe just maybe, you'll like FOL. Just maybe. But of course, I'll have to like the Brady Bunch too.....lol

First off, The Facts of Life managed to replace three shows when it joined Nick at Nite. Those three shows were: Bewitched, Happy Days, & The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour in which probably caused long-time viewer reduction. Nick at Nite went overboard with "The Facts of Life" by airing it four times a night (2 episodes at 9-10, repeats in late night) every night which caused less exposure for their other shows at that time (i.e.: "I Love Lucy", "The Jeffersons", "Gilligan's Island", "Laverne & Shirley", "The Wonder Years", "Newhart"). Then those double takes (back-to-back episodes) of "The Facts of Life" made the influence of airing two episodes of a sitcom back-to-back (i.e.: "Three's Company", "All in the Family", "Gilligan's Island, "The Jeffersons"). Well, those double takes didn't help any, but made it go even more downhill by which "The Wonder Years", "Newhart", "Taxi", and "WKRP" were all eliminated entirely from Nick at Nite. On top of that, the show influence Nick at Nite to do an identity change by getting rid of almost all the 50's/60's/70's shows and adding nothing BUT 80's shows. After all the changes, the channel went from 13 sitcoms to 5 sitcoms. 5 sitcoms is not a lot mind you.
Now look what it is today: 70 percent of it is 80's sitcoms and nothing but double-takes all night long. Like I said, once they added "The Facts of Life" it all went downhill from there and it is getting worse and worse.

LucyFan, I know exactly where you are coming from. I LOVE Lucy, in anything she does, and am thrilled that The Lucy Show is coming to Hallmark. I did not expect FOL at all this summer, but I am thrilled about that too, I also LOVE FOL. No, it's not the greatest sitcom, but it has a ton of fans, a lot here on this board. And about N-a-N going downhill, well, the FOL marathon was aired TWICE, which meant the show did GREAT for N-A-N. And yes, FOL replaced some shows, but that's only because either A) N-a-N lost the rights to them, or B) TVLand moved them to their network. I completely HATE N-a-N now, and FOL was MAYBE the start of their downward spiral, but "The Cosby Show" & "Cheers" running four times a night, are the only two shows that N-a-N really cares about anymore, and they air them constantly. They're both faves of mine, but I am sick of watching them. Those two shows spelled the end for N-a-N. And everytime a network gets a new show, yes, a show or two are going to be replaced, that's how it is. It's not FOL's fault NAN dropped a lot of shows - if that makes sense.

Now, when Lucy comes to Hallmark (which I HOPE IS SOON), they are most likely going to replace an airing of either Bewitched or IDOJ. Shows replace shows all the time, it's okay to be upset about it, but it's not the end of the world. Hope you all understand where I'M coming from.

ITA Silver Daze. I do have a feeling that My Three Sons (not that I watch the show) will be replaced. It's just a hunch. Anyway, FOL is a great show, and I am really tired of people telling the FOL fans that the show "damaged" NAN. Oh, and I didn't say this before, but, umm, Happy Days and Bewitched were scooped up by Hallmark, FOL did not replace them, those shows were taken, so Nick added FOL to fill the void. And Lucy-Desi was obviously scooped up by TVLand. I really do NOT understand what people have against FACTS OF LIFE. It's a unique show that dealt with, the facts of life. And I'll say it again, shows replace shows ALL THE TIME, it happens, we don't like it when it does, but it happens. If Lucy Show replaced FOL this fall, I would not be upset, Lucy Show deserves a chance too. But there are tons and tons of fans of FOL and they shouldn't be told that it damanged NAN and it's a bad show, etc. I think it's very rude, and we need to respect each other's opinions, whether we agree with them or not. I love The Lucy Show too, but FOL is also very popular, and it was pretty popular during it's run on NBC, it may not have made the top 20 all the time, but it was very popular and it will always be popular.

If Lucy Show replaced FOL part of me would be mad because they didn't air the Beverly Ann years and part of me would be happy because Lucy Show is back on air.
