Animated Addams Family Voice Cast Announced

The voice cast for director Conrad Vernon‘s animated Addams Family film for MGM has been confirmed today:


Charlize Theron as Morticia Addams
Oscar Isaac as Gomez Addams
Chloë Grace Moretz as Wednesday Addams
Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley Addams
Nick Kroll as Uncle Fester
Bette Midler as Grandmama
Allison Janney as Margaux Needler




The plot is described as:

"The Addams Family face-off against a crafty reality TV host (Janney) while also preparing for their extended family to arrive for a major celebration."




Pamela Pettler (Corpse Bride) wrote the script, with revisions by Matt Lieberman. Vernon will produce with Gail Berman and Alex Schwartz, principals of production house the Jackal Group.

Andrew Mittman and Kevin Miserocchi will exec produce. The film has been dated for release on October 11, 2019.

He was pudgy in the original New Yorker cartoons.

The 3-D animation looks horrible. I've never been a fan of it. The proportions of their bodies and heads look dumb.



Still, to me, the best version is the sitcom. I'm not a fan of the live movies, either.

This sounds interesting to me. I love the original Addams Family from the 60s.

MGM must have high hopes for this new animated movie of The Addams Family because there's a lot of promotions for it like IHOP is gonna have a The Addams Family inspired menu and lots more. I think that MGM expects that this movie is gonna be a Halloween hit when it opens. But I have noticed that some of The Addams Family characters are missing like Thing and Pubert Addams and it seems odd that many of The Addams Family characters are missing and this movie is only focusing on the main characters. But I think i'll stick with The Addams Family sitcom and live action movies and cartoon
