I was an avid Alf fan as a kid (had Alf posters, dolls, etc..), but I remember thinking the quality of the show dropped big-time during the third season. What does everyone else think?

Their was a Hollywood writers strike. It got really bad. Remember the black and white episode where ALF was a sheik.

No way - ALF may have come down in a few eps....(which is natural for any tv show), but ALF rocked for most of the eps!!

Some of the third and fourth season episodes are my favorites. I have around the last 10 episodes and some of the ones from Season 1, but I like the third season. The Fourth was missing Brian and Jake, and had Neil instead!
