So I checked The Jeffersons tonight and there was no disclaimer but the rating did come on and it was rated TV-14-L. That is just ridiculous. There’s nothing in The Jeffersons that should warrant a TV-14 rating. It was only TV-PG-L on TV Land if the n-word was used otherwise it was TV-G. The Jeffersons was one of the more family friendly shows of Norman Lear, with the exception of maybe 3 or 4 episodes. I could understand if a few episodes of All in the Family or Maude were TV-14 as those are more adult themed but even then those are mostly PG and it’s also strange every episode of All in the Family is TV-14 on get. Is this nation just getting too politically correct that classic shows from the 70s need a TV-14 rating?
