I have no sympathy for her but I feel bad for the actors who depended on those residuals.

XFINITY is still showing Roseanne on the guide along with a random thumbnail from the show.

I still think it'll gradually be added back within a few months.

And for the rest of the week, it still says Roseanne.

It shows Roseanne on the guide for Laff, but Night Court is now on every weeknight from 9-11pm. Finally, Night Court back on at night!!!! Yay!!!!

Todd Bridges did an interview where he talked about residuals decreasing over the years. He said he made quite a bit when Diff'rent Strokes hit syndication. But, of course he blew it all.

I'm curious about what the Roseanne cast was getting in residuals in recent years. The only people who will really be hurt with lost residuals are Michael Fishman, Estelle Parsons, and Lecy Goranson. Apparently, Estelle once said in an interview that her guest spots on the original show didn't pay well.

Roseanne has said and done plenty of racist things in the past, yet Viacom did not bat an eye. So now that another network is acting as a result of her racist marks, other networks are following suit :rolleyes:

I think censorship is stupid and unfair, so I hope this passes. This is why I'm so glad I have the DVDs because of this BS.

I think the same thing. Roseanne reruns are worth too much money to completely ignore.

Yeah, I don't think this one will be permanent. Eventually someone will quietly put it back on, and when the world doesn't come to an end, other networks will follow.

I remember when certain networks and channels started quietly putting The Cosby Show back on the air again.

Both Cosby and Roseanne (the shows) deserve to stay on the air. The shows didn't do anything wrong. It's the idea of separating the art from the artist.

Maybe the networks are worried the audience will associate the negativity of the star directly with the show and stop watching. But the audience should have that choice. If the ratings go down, only then should the shows be removed.

But yeah, I agree with the others. None of this is permanent. Both shows will be back in due time.

This kind of reminds me of the backlash against Green Acres when Zsa Zsa Gabor slapped that cop: Nick at Nite even released a series of PSA-type commercials where they said, "Green Acres stars Ava Gabor, not Zsa Zsa!".

This pulling-of-reruns made me order the Mill Creek Complete Series on eBay.

I guess it's unlikely they'll release he nine-episode revival? I guess one could find the episodes via other avenues...

I'm sure lots of people recorded them, and the safe part is they have to be the original unedited network versions.

I'm upset that Hulu and ABC pulled the Roseanne reboot off their apps because of this. It's flat out censorship. Plain and simple. It's also a huge disservice to the fans and all the people that worked on the show.

I just wish they would forgive her. There's no reason that the whole cast and the fans have to suffer because she made a mistake.

If this means we don't get a DVD or Bluray release, I'll be so upset.
