In Beaver and Henry today on MeTV (they played the wrong episode--it was supposed to be Beaver's Old Friend), Larry mentioned his little brother.

Am I correct that this was the only mention of younger brother for him? Evidently Madge Blake hadn't been cast yet. Maybe after they cast her, they thought it was enough of a stretch with her having a 7 or 8 year old. So they settled on Larry having an older brother and sister, both unseen.

Yes, pretty sure that's the only time a younger brother is mentioned.

In one of the earlier episodes Fred was bragging about his two sons.

Right Madge hadn’t been cast yet as mom. Imagine Mrs. M with a younger son than Larry. Glad we had Madge as the mother.
