Today is a national holiday where we will never forget the people who have served.

Always remember the people who have fought and unfortunately died later on.

Someone once told me to never say "happy Memorial Day" because it's not a happy occasion. It's a sad remembrance.

For me Memorial Day is a day not only to remember our slain veterans but to remember all of our loved ones who have passed.

My mother just went to put roses on my Uncle Doyel's grave
at Giles County cemetary.

Friday night, my wife, daughter, and I went and saw Solo.

Saturday we had a bunch of friends and family over for my wife's birthday.

Sunday helped my daughter change oil/tune up her car. Went out to dinner.

Today, not much, daughter went back to college, the wife and I are just kind of vegging.
