In response to Jezebel's proposal (https://themuse.jezebel.com/lets-reboot-kevin-can-wait-1826304156) to reboot CBS' canceled Kevin James sitcom, Patrick Redford of sister blog Deadspin -- who has facetiously written about Kevin Can Wait "fan theories" (https://theconcourse.deadspin.com/this-new-batch-of-kevin-can-wait-fan-theories-is-truly-1796818249) not once but twice (https://theconcourse.deadspin.com/the-wildest-fan-theories-about-kevin-can-wait-1788415840) -- offers a reboot proposal: "Sell HBO the intellectual property rights to Kevin Can Wait and have them make a Kevin Can Wait World in the Westworld universe."

Kevin Can Wait is already a Reboot of King of Queens.

I liked season 2, that said, it didn't find enough of an audience. A few years ago it might have made a nice fit for TV Land, but the network is headed in a different direction, so even that possibility is gone. I think it's spilt milk at this point.

Pretty much. I quit watching after they announced they were killing off Donna.

I finished watching 《the king of Queens》, then searched for Kevin James+Leah Remini. I skipped season one of Kevin can wait, and season two was so funny. I do agree that Kevin can wait had the potential to be as successful as the king of Queens.
