In the 70's a singer named Teena Marie made her debut and known by the nickname Lady T she was one of the popular singers on Motown Records. I bet many of you remember the song I Need Your Loving because that was one of Teena Marie's popular songs and her first hit. In 1984 she released the album Starchild and had a hit with the song Lovergirl which marked more albums for Epic Records in the 80's. Teena Marie made a comeback with the album La Donna and released another album before her death. It's a surprise that today's singers do not have as great of vocal power like Teena Marie had because Teena Marie had a unique voice and wrote wonderful songs and Teena Marie is still missed by fans around the world
