Aimee Carrero who also plays the voice of Elena in Elena Of Avalor is gonna provide She-Ra's voice in the new She-Ra cartoon? I found it surprising that Aimee Carrero is also gonna be She-Ra as well. I was a fan of She-Ra and I was amazed at how awesome She-Ra was and my godfather gave me some She-Ra action figures that he had found at a garage sale and I was so shocked at the quality of the action figures. I wonder how great Aimee Carrero will be as the voice of She-Ra because I wonder if girls will be surprised to see Elena Of Avalor's voice in the role of She-Ra. But Netflix will do a awesome job introducing She-Ra cartoons to a new generation of people

Noelle Stevenson, the 26-year-old showrunner behind She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, says of her upcoming series: "I was really interested in finding what my next project would be, and finding something epic, serialized, action-adventure, fantasy, sci-fi…all of the things I wanted to do. (She-Ra) has this majority female cast, it’s centered around a female hero, it’s got rainbows and it’s got robots, it’s got everything I like in one place.”

That's the artwork? Pass.
Some men are complaining that Netflix's new She-Ra isn't sexy enough (https://www.dailydot.com/parsec/she-ra-controversy/)
Male YouTubers and tweeters have been comparing the new She-Ra to a man. That has prompted a backlash to the backlash, with DuckTales storyboard artist Kristen Gish tweeting: "Dear men complaining about She-Ra (https://twitter.com/KGishFish/status/1019249764095807489), The animation industry has heard your complaints and we’re taking them into consideration. We promise the Care Bears reboot will have tons of boobs. You’re welcome."

Ugh. I see this becoming just as hated as Cartoon networks Thundercats revival. You can't mess with nostalgia! People that grew up with these cartoons and still care about them are passionate about how these properties are handled.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power creator: Our show is coming out at the perfect time (https://ew.com/tv/2018/11/14/she-ra-noelle-stevenson-perfect-time/)
“I mean, I think it’s the perfect time,” Noelle Stevenson says of reviving She-Ra in 2018. “It has been so cathartic for me to do, working on with this specific crew, this show has almost been this safe place. They are free of the day to day issues that we deal with—sexism, racism, all of the things that can make the news cycle so oppressive. And this is our escape from that, while also still addressing a lot of those same issues in a way that hopefully supplies relief but also is a call to action, a call to be brave, and to be strong.”

Watched the complete season. My review: overall awful dreck.
Absolutely NOTHING like the original if thats what you're expecting. Lots of "Hey besties! Besties besties besties!" It gets old real fast. Why is Glimmer a main character?
They tackle a lot of topics young people deal with nowadays such as body positivity, transgenders, homosexuality, etc. which I guess is a good thing but does every new cartoon really have to do this?!
Oh and Bow has the same hair style as his voice actor *face palm*
This show is NOT for children under the age of 14.
