View Full Version : Terror Vision to Release "Unsolved Mysteries" Theme on Vinyl
JamesG 05-17-2018, 08:16 PM Haunting "Unsolved Mysteries" Soundtrack Getting 1st Ever Vinyl Release!
by John Squires
May 17, 2018
The original "Unsolved Mysteries" theme song, composed by Michael Boyd and Gary Remal Malkin, is one of the downright creepiest tunes in the history of entertainment. Most horror movie scores cannot even compare to the show’s theme, which someone managed to perfectly encapsulate all the ominous goings-on that the series explored.
Today we’ve learned that Terror Vision is releasing the original broadcast soundtrack for the show, for the very first time, on vinyl. Now up for pre-order, the Single LP and Triple LP versions of the soundtrack both include remastered audio pulled from original tapes.
The company’s owner explains:
“Immediately after inking the deal with John Cosgrove (Unsolved Mysteries creator), I was sent several hundred DAT tapes of all the music for the show. So from February until a few weeks ago I would spend several hours a day making sense of everything.
The single LP version features my personal favorite songs from the ghost related segments of Unsolved Mysteries whereas the triple LP set contains EVERYTHING written for the ghost segments. This version is very very limited as it’s really just meant for diehard fans.”
Both versions are also available in special bundles, which each include an “Unsolved Mysteries” logo t-shirt and enamel pin. Pre-order now at http://www.terror-vision.com/ and expect them to arrive in July.
Single LP Version ($27):
This is the single LP version featuring 3 UM theme songs, 29 ghost related cues and the missing/wanted music. This set is curated by Ryan Graveface.

Yep, want to download it from Itunes. Hope it has that dadada wowwow tune that used to play during a lot of the update segments. My first thought was the 1990's British indie/metal band Terrorvision were doing a cover version album.
tsaun 05-17-2018, 11:14 PM Ha, that's pretty damn cool
tarheelslim 05-18-2018, 10:18 AM Amazing.
I would have considered this almost as unlikely as I considered the entire series being offered on streaming platforms.
Unfortunately the bundle with a logo tee and pin already sold out - I figured I could think on it for 24 hours but that thing flew.
tarheelslim 05-18-2018, 10:20 AM Please let them release this to digital!
I see the label has some other sountrack reissues on Spotify so it's possible.
Huskerz85 05-18-2018, 01:05 PM Nice! Would be even better if there was a release of the other background/incidental music from the 'wanted', 'unexplained death' and other such segments.

Well shoot, if it shows up iTunes or some other digital store, count me in
justins5256 05-18-2018, 01:58 PM I’m really surprised there was enough interest in this in the first place.

Why? The music was one of the main selling points of the show.

I want that scary Mary Had a Little Lamb queue so bad. :D

I racked my brain trying to figure out what you were on about. Then the music hit me. That is probably the best description possible of that music.
RevengeTypeBurn 05-21-2018, 11:04 AM Instantly ordered. Wow. I can't believe it. Please let it do well so the next ones can come out.
drew4824 05-21-2018, 05:26 PM I want that scary Mary Had a Little Lamb queue so bad. :D
Can you point me to a segment that used it? I have seen that referenced on here before and I know I've heard it numerous times but I just can't recall a specific segment.
drew790 05-22-2018, 06:20 PM It can be heard in a bunch of random ones, but the one I was able to find it in just now was at the closing moments of the world leaders segment (Hussein etc)
DazzlerSparkler 05-23-2018, 11:25 PM What versions of the themes? Kinda hope they include the version from 1992-5
spiraleyes 05-25-2018, 06:21 PM As a huge vinyl enthusiast and fan of Michael Boyd and Gary Remal Malkin, this is absolutely fantastic. I will be ripping this to mp3 and FLAC but I have a feeling a digital version will come anyway.
WishfulDreamer 05-25-2018, 07:39 PM I'm hoping one day to have the whole soundtrack. I would love to drive around in my car playing some of the more mysterious tunes, and it would make my commute less mundane
Proctor 05-26-2018, 02:22 AM Is the triple LP version still available? The website leads me to believe it's not :(
James T 05-26-2018, 02:43 AM Hopefully somebody can do a deal to release the In Search Of music-really funky disco/Krautrock stuff.

I've never been able to find a copy of the original LP IRL.
Proctor 05-29-2018, 10:50 PM Yeah I think it is gone.
Bummer...missed it by a matter of days. Might have to settle for the standard version.

The triple LP was intended to be extremely limited so I doubt we'll see another pressing.
There was an indication that if this release (I guess meaning the single LP, and perhaps whatever digital versions come about) is *extremely* successful we could see other UM soundtracks released by the label.

In that case, I might buy a copy of the single disc edition to go along with the 3-disc one to get the digital release and do my part to bump the sales up.

I bought the record but have no way to rip it to digital. Would very much like it if you could share. Thanks!
Please do not post any public links to the music.
I'm sure they will be releasing it on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Bandcamp and Tidal soon. Let's support this release and hope they release it on CD. I'm sure if it sells well they will consider releasing more music in the future.
I'm very excited for this release myself. The music was definitely one of the most memorable parts of the series.

I have bought many releases from Terror Vision, the label that is putting this out. He does not offer digital or CD options. Or at least he has very rarely in the past.

I think that's incorrect. At least a few of their releases are available for streaming on Tidal or for sale on Amazon, Bandcamp and iTunes (such as this one - https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/spookies-original-motion-picture-soundtrack/1086605232 or this one - https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/not-of-this-earth-original-motion-picture-soundtrack/1013087165)
Their other releases are mostly obscure horror/sci-fi movies. Unsolved Mysteries is a completely different beast and will surely be their biggest seller. They have every reason to release it digitally and on CD eventually.

I think its typically an issue of whether the label can get the rights to release it digitally (for whatever reason, its my understanding that obtaining the rights to release something on vinyl is not always the same as doing so for digital). At any rate, I would love to be wrong and would have no problem purchasing this on multiple formats.

All of their releases appear to be available on Bandcamp, iTunes and Amazon.com mp3 .
https://terrorvision.bandcamp.com/
It might not be instantly available on them, but I'm sure they are making plans after how quickly the 3 LPs edition sold out. I think they underestimated the popularity of the music. It's hard to say if they got the digital/CD rights also. I was hoping that somebody like La-La Land Records would release a nice boxed CD set. They've done many other TV series scores.
This Terror Vision Records is probably a one-man or small operation. He probably created the label just to release the titles he wanted that no other labels would consider.
I think it would be a good option if they offered a free digital download for anybody who purchased the LPs.
The single LP version is up for order on Amazon. It's great they are including a digital download with it.

At least I hope we're getting digital versions, too. Just got the e-mail from them today about expecting shipping on the 3-disc set in July.
drew790 06-21-2018, 04:43 PM It's on the Canadian Amazon as well.
Now that I see that it comes with a digital download I've purchased it as well, since I don't have Vinyl equipment and don't plan to ever.
DazzlerSparkler 06-24-2018, 09:59 PM Oh I hope someone can upload the themes and the update music. I'm not really interested in the rest of it lol.

I can't believe people still buy CDs or digital downloads...it's such out-of-date technology in the world of streaming and vinyl.

Got rid of my record player years ago & my LP'S recently. Find it hilarious that CD'S which replaced Vinyl & downloads are inferior to that format. Think it depends on the mix-have some stuff from iTunes that sound fantastic-Alan Parsons stuff I bought a while back is amazing quality.
drew790 06-25-2018, 11:44 AM Vinyl's more prone to damage than a CD or a download, and it's only "higher quality" until it's scratched.
Places that offer untouched/uncompressed audio files are definitely not inferior to vinyl.
I'm eagerly awaiting the return of VHS all the same.

LOL!!!!
DazzlerSparkler 06-26-2018, 12:47 AM Wait....is the 95 theme remix the first theme with the cool little drum beat to it? Or is it the mellow ghost-esque crap 95-98 one?
eschaton47 06-27-2018, 08:59 AM The Amazon info is an error. I got my copy yesterday from Terror Vision and there was no DL card. I emailed the guy this morning and he wrote back and said he does not have the digital rights for this music and there will not be any such release.

Shame. Can't justify buying a turntable for a single release.

Yeah lets ripoff a small independent record label that barely makes enough money to make a decent profit! Its all a labor of love. I know the owner and Ill be directing him to this thread!

Waiting for the return of VHS? It never went away and new VHS releases are still cranked out to this day by independent film labels as well as bigger companies.

To be fair, at no point did they say they would be distributing it and it's not illegal to do so for personal use.

Yeah sure. But the person above him asked if someone can rip it to mp3 for them and then "spiraleyes" chimes in he will be ripping it. What does that imply???? To me it implies he will be posting it online.

It implies nothing as nowhere did they go "sure, I'll send you a copy" when people asked. No one who is actually ripping something for illegal download is announcing it like this in a place with their personal info on display.
I'd be doing the same thing for my personal use if I bought this and had the equipment (that one can buy at Walmart). I don't listen to music sitting in my living room around the Victrola like its 1937, I listen to it on the go and in 2018 that's how most do. Too bad there aren't plans for a digital release, I'd have bought it. Thems the breaks.
James T 06-27-2018, 11:19 PM Here is hoping the chap does come into this thread & sees there is an interest for Digital downloads. Not sure how it works exactly, but could he/they lose anything by putting it on iTunes etc? Surely even if it is a 50/50 split that would be a lot better than 100% of nothing. I can understand CD's being quite an expense, knowing how many to produce etc being a problem, but there seems to be quite a market for this & the age of UM fans means a lot of us are 40 plus old farts who have iPod's.

If he doesn't have the rights, he doesn't have the rights. His company would be destroyed. It's not going to happen.

How is he releasing it on Vinyl if he doesn't have the rights? He must have a deal in place with CM.
drew790 06-28-2018, 06:50 AM The same way TV shows released on DVD and streaming have had to have music changed. You can secure rights for certain types of media.
If no one else has the digital rights already then it theoretically could be as easy as securing and paying for those rights like was done for vinyl, if it's deemed worth the financial return on that investment.
A number of us would buy.
DazzlerSparkler 07-05-2018, 12:50 AM So how's the vinyl? There's no digital port?

I saw a video about this on YT today. He explains how he begged for the permission to make the record. His interest intitially was in the cues for ghost music from what I can tell. I don't know if the two people from the video are on this forum? If not they are missing out... they seemed to be lifelong UM fans. and the good news is it looks like this has been a success and that there could be more to come later.

I don't remember the exact title...just know that I searched for UM soundtrack. I don't know that it is anything to worry about because the person who made the record is the one being interviewed in the video.
DazzlerSparkler 07-09-2018, 06:39 AM So is the 95 theme the eerie non percussion theme or the remix?
drew790 07-09-2018, 07:57 AM So is the 95 theme the eerie non percussion theme or the remix?
I don't have the album but 95 is when they switched to the blue / wind instrument intro. 1993 was when they modernized the 1987 intro.
I know the 95 theme gets a lot of hate but for me nothing is worse than the Lifetime one. (Barring the elusive CBS one that I've never been able to see/hear)
DALLASTEXAN!! 08-04-2018, 09:14 AM I also enjoyed the mid 90s theme in Particular the update and criminal profile featured themes. I liked the way they used the electric bass and combined it with the original melody remixed.
grbush82 08-21-2018, 11:29 PM Longtime lurker, but just had to say I was able to snag the 3XLP, finally got it in the mail today, and it's outstanding, from the sound, the packaging and art visuals, you can see terror vision put alot of heart and soul in this release. It also came with linear notes from John Cosgrove and Gary Malkin who produced the original music. I know they are sold out of the 3XLP, but the standard LP is just as good!

drew790 08-22-2018, 10:03 PM I would break down and buy a record player if there was a 3XLP of the murder / fraud / missing / wanted stuff.

I bought the 3XLP and I don't even have a way to play it. From what I've heard though, some of the music on the single record has tracks that were also used in some of the other type segments like murder/missing.
dynoguy88 10-08-2018, 11:27 AM Side A and Side B are on the forbidden site and they are epic!
Each side is over 20 minutes long yet there’s still so many more scores that could have been included. They should make a Volume 2.
tarheelslim 10-08-2018, 03:18 PM Yep, this thing sounds great. Amazing release.
Ooooh it is so nice to hear the update music! Clear as a bell! It's the last track on side A.
dynoguy88 10-09-2018, 10:14 AM If you're one of those people who like to decorate and make your house look spooky for Halloween, you should play this soundtrack in the background for the trick-or-treaters in a couple weeks. It's fitting.

Will definitely be doing that.
Also got the 3x-LP, sounds amazing. However, why the original 1989 theme was not included is completely beyond me. Maybe Terror Vision was unable to get the rights to tht specific piece? The 1991 update is more or less the same, but there are subtleties to the drums/synth production that make it way better (read: scarier) in my opinion.
JohnUM 10-16-2018, 03:07 PM Not sure if someone said so already but it’s already uploaded to youtube lol
freakbook 10-17-2018, 10:51 AM Side A and Side B are on the forbidden site and they are epic!
Each side is over 20 minutes long yet there’s still so many more scores that could have been included. They should make a Volume 2.
Awesome. Now I have something to twerk to while I clean.

drew790 02-11-2019, 07:45 PM I would break down and buy a record player if there was a 3XLP of the murder / fraud / missing / wanted stuff.
Well, I guess I need to do this now.
It's not been announced but the TerrorVision socials posted a pic of a whole bunch of UM Dat tapes with something to the effect of "here we go again", and the labels on the Dat tapes visible in the pic were all murder related.

Saw this and immediately went there. It's somewhat embarrassing that a pile of old media with handwritten labels is so exciting to me. Now if they were VHS tapes.......
I made the mistake of buying the single LP instead of the triple LP. I'm hoping it shows up on ebay soon.
Chichester Crowe 02-14-2019, 11:23 AM I just got an email that slates the next UM vinyl release for August.

Do you do Discogs? There's this 3xLP one available: https://www.discogs.com/Gary-Malkin-Unsolved-Mysteries/release/12481446
And then the other one comes on there just about every other week to buy from what I've seen.
RevengeTypeBurn 02-15-2019, 11:59 AM Terror Vision also still has some of the single LPs on their site for sale: http://www.terror-vision.com/store/unsolved-mysteries-ghosts-hauntings-the-unexplained-lp
I'm extremely impressed with their work, the discs are very high quality but a lot of love and care was put into the packaging, too. It's enthusiast media of the best kind, and I'm really happy that CMP seems to be continuing a relationship with this label. Makes me hopeful that they'll want to do more stuff like this in the future.

Also, they'll be sending out a notification to their mailing list about an upcoming reprint of the 3xLP release. If you missed the 3xLP release like I did, you'll want to get on their mailing list, as they expect the copies to sell out to subscribers of that list alone.

I'd also like them in a digital format, but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be getting anything in that case. The rights for digital distribution are different than the rights for physical media, and streaming is something else entirely. The artists and rights owners make extremely small amounts of royalties on digital distribution, even less on streaming. It is often not worth it for niche media to be made available. For example, Spotify pays around $0.005 per play. That's not 50 cents per play, or 5 cents. Suppose there's 75,000 streams of all Unsolved Mysteries music per month, and that's pretty generous number. Between any of the streaming facilitators or clearing houses and etc, other residuals, other rights holders, CMP, and Gary Remal Malkin, they get to split... $375. Less than $5,000 a year. Suppose they put the tracks on iTunes and sell 25,000 tracks a year. That's another whopping $15,000. This is not worth anyone's time. Maybe CMP or Netflix will want to do it just to add buzz for the upcoming reboot, but they'd be doing it explicitly as a loss.
I don't know what Terror Vision paid to get the vinyl rights, but I'm guessing everyone involved is happy about it.

Chichester Crowe 03-25-2019, 11:38 AM Physical media is king. I think DRM is nothing less than 1984.
Some of my favorite films and TV shows are out of print and unavailable on streaming platforms. Imagine going into the NYC library and 75% of it is empty, and what remains is constantly shifting and changing. This is the reason why I maintain a robust physical and digital-rip library. I have the first seasons of Pound Puppies, Today's Special, and SCTV, and the entire series of Muppet Babies. These days, they'd rather reboot then re-release. Good luck finding the originals ever again...
TL; DR
I'll take what I can get, and I'll be grateful for it.
Fletch 03-25-2019, 11:39 PM I used to think that way... but the convenience of a digital media ecosystem makes too sense for the majority of consumers (myself included).
dynoguy88 03-26-2019, 08:09 AM Omg yes yes yes a murder themed set
That's pretty much my reaction; yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!
There was some great creepy soundtracks on the first one but many of the music cues that haunted me to nightmare levels as a kid weren't on that one.
Chichester Crowe 03-26-2019, 10:17 AM I used to think that way... but the convenience of a digital media ecosystem makes too sense for the majority of consumers (myself included).
The problem with DRM is that you never really "own" it. Just ask the folks who bought Kindle books only to find that Amazon removed the titles from their devices after a certain period of time. In some cases, when Amazon's rights to the media expire, your rights to the media expires, too. This is why you can find seasons of You Can't Do That On Television listed on Amazon, but as "unavailable". Same thing with thirtysomething. Convenience for me is having a physical copy that I can rip to my HD and then play with my HTPC using media software like Kodi.
The concept of the "nostalgia cycle" drives this imperative for physical media. The entertainment industry preys on people in their thirties. At any given moment, reboots/re-releases are being made from thirty years prior. In the 80s and 90s, they were making shows that hearkened back to the 50s and 60s. Today, it's the 80s and 90s. Once the cycle is over, unless the show was timeless, you likely never see it again, as the nostalgia fades. A few years ago, Atari and Atari games were very expensive, now they're dirt cheap and available because those people have moved on. I'm not saying that things disappear completely, but ask yourself how easy it would be to go find and buy an unopened box of Garbage Pail Kids right now.
TL;DR
If you love it, own a physical copy, or you risk never seeing it again.
Huskerz85 10-02-2019, 12:41 PM Don't know what the status of this is - but in going back through and rewatching old episodes, I stopped on the 'Orphan Train' segment.
There's a 3-4 note motif, that includes a harmonica, that plays - to me, it's warm and 'homey'. It probably made an appearance on at least 1-2 further 'Lost Love' segments I'd wager. It seems kind of short, but it'd still be nice if it was included in a future compilation.
Chichester Crowe 10-02-2019, 01:06 PM Not to be a downer, but the company specializes in horror-film soundtracks. "Warm and Homey" doesn't appear to be their forte. After looking at the pics that they post to FB and the notes of the segments they were mining, it appears to be more like a Bizarre Murders soundtrack.
I will be sure to post here with full details when they release. I think he said August was going to be the initial release date, so I'm wagering October, just in time for Halloween.

Huskerz85 10-31-2019, 12:32 PM Awesome - wonder if the 'Dad Dies (Alive and Missing)' track is that sad, 4-note theme I talked about (that plays during the Shannon Davis, Stanley Gryziec and Elizabeth Campbell segments).......
dynoguy88 10-31-2019, 01:16 PM This would have come in handy to have tonight to play for the trick-or-treaters.

As Drew790 said, the track listing isn't as good as the original Unsolved Mysteries vinyl release which I never knew about until after the special preorders were long gone (I should have clicked on this thread sooner as I'm a vinyl connoisseur).

DazzlerSparkler 02-05-2020, 03:04 PM Listened to some of it on YouTube. Very pleased we get the full update music
Huskerz85 02-06-2020, 01:15 PM Sad to see that one 3-4 note piano theme I mentioned (that you heard at the beginning of the RFK segment) didn't make the cut.

I haven't listened to the whole thing yet. I look forward to listening to the rest later tonight. But so far, there are some definite goodies on there. Like the music that introduces the Betty Cash and Vicki Landrum segment, the haunting music that's played while the killer is entering Jeanie Tovrea's home and walking to her bedroom, and the infamous update music that accompanied the Baskin children segment...which is so unsettling that (like I've mentioned before) if you played it over a picture of puppies, you're STILL going to feel a little uneasy.

So many of the most notable tracks still haven't been released. Kinda annoyed about that to be honest. I was going to invest in the LP and a system to play it for the Murders that they built up on social media until I saw the track listing and hearing it re-enforced my concerns. In the end it's mostly UFO stuff, which while nice, aren't the memorable tracks the show's known for. Like, just advertise it as a UFO release next time or focus on the thing everyone was excited for in the marketing.

drew790 02-09-2020, 12:05 PM That first bonus disc track is just ... Wowwowow.
I wonder if this and the other track from that side were potential themes, they seem to be more in line with that then as background music and the first has some similarities to the 95 theme changes.
It's basically Dr Who meets Unsolved Mysteries and I can't stop listening to it.

Some of those UFO scores are really neat and memorable. Like a combination of eerie, mysterious and beautiful at the same time. But there are several that I just plain don't recognize, probably because I haven't gone back and watched the majority of the UFO segments since childhood. It's like you said. They're nice, but not THE most memorable.
Volume 2 is advertised as 'Bizarre Murders, UFO's, and the Unknown,' which is a little misleading. They overlapped and used the same scores for many different kinds of cases so it's technically not untrue. But there's soooooo many more that needs to be included; most notably from the Wanted, Unexplained Death, and Missing segments. I don't want to seem ungrateful because this is far more than I ever expected to get concerning the soundtracks but you can't leave out THE most memorable.
This reminds me of back around 2003ish, when they released those different DVD sets of cases and the 'Bizarre Murders,' was the very last one to be released.

Yeah. I've tried to hold back on the criticism because like you said, don't want to seem ungrateful and never thought we'd get these. I just don't get why when all the reaction to what they were sharing on the pics of murder theme tapes they didn't take that reaction as the hint of where this should have gone. Hopefully we get more and can finally get those iconic ones out there.
In the meantime, major props for releasing that unused intro theme song (or whatever it was, I can't see what else it could have been used for). It's epic!
omegadoom 03-08-2020, 07:44 AM You can download my Hi-Res 24-bit-96-kHz rip of the Bizarre Murders 2xLP Neon Violet, Neon Green mailing list version from here. It also includes the bonus 7 inch. That YouTube version is not the best and contains numerous errors.

Did you get those rips of the 3XLP?

I've always liked the piece that starts at 8:51. It was in the Ogopogo and C.W. Roddy segments:

spiraleyes 05-04-2020, 04:31 AM Finally completed my rip of the original 3xLP release so we have something to keep our minds occupied during this social-distancing pandemic.
Below is a link to the Hi-Def original highly-sought limited edition 3xLP Unsolved Mysteries pressing in 24-bit/96kHz.
This was the first and original 3xLP that quickly sold out when released in June of 2018: featuring 5 UM theme songs/closing credits, 120 ghost related cues and the missing/wanted music. These are the colors of the vinyls that were ripped:
Vinyl 1: Silver & Clear Mixed
Vinyl 2: Clear W/ Green Glow In The Dark Specs
Vinyl 3: Blue Translucent W/ Dark Blue Specs
I do not deal in Mp3s as it compresses music, trims out frequency information and actually shaves off parts of the music—taking quality away. This release deserves to be listened to in it's original, uncramped master format. A fine capture of a limited edition set. Additionally, I chose to separate F16 and F17, which are indexed as the same track on the LP, but are clearly two separate cues.

Did you do anything different with these rips?
Listening with earphones I've noticed that you can still hear the surface noise of the record player on these rips, but with the rips for volume 2 that noise was eliminated.
scarfish 05-07-2020, 09:50 AM You are awesome! I was gonna buy the actual LPs but they’re pricey and hard to come by on Discogs

That's a bummer. I actually liked Volume 2 better.

So did I.
grbush82 05-19-2020, 12:16 PM When did he say that? I saw some comments on their Instagram saying that they would do another release down the road. Such a bummer because I have both Volumes and the 3XLP so I would love more music!

This is what he said when I contacted him about it -
"I mean that’s where my head is at currently. I’ve got a warehouse full of volume 2 so unless it starts to sell I wouldn’t even consider another volume". -Ryan Graveface
UMlover 10-16-2020, 09:08 AM Happy almost-Halloween everyone! Time to bust these records—or high-res WAV files ;)—out for the kiddos!
UMfan0682 10-16-2020, 11:45 AM The new Unsolved Mysteries theme from Netflix is now available for streaming/download:

I love it! Sounds great
DazzlerSparkler 03-02-2021, 12:52 AM Is there mp3 of vol 2?
omegadoom 01-25-2022, 04:42 PM Terror Vision announced yesterday that a Volume 3 of the Unsolved Mysteries soundtrack is being released.
dynoguy88 01-25-2022, 04:57 PM Terror Vision announced yesterday that a Volume 3 of the Unsolved Mysteries soundtrack is being released.
Awesome! There’s still many classic scores that need to be released.
Huskerz85 01-26-2022, 02:16 PM A few weeks ago, I finally resorted to some dubious means (stream-rippers) to get the musical scores I always liked off the specific episodes. It'd be awesome if Terror Vision would release some/all of them, but based on what I heard on the first 2 releases, I kind of doubt it.
UMfan0682 10-28-2022, 12:09 PM Has anyone heard any updates/news from Terror Vision on Volume 3? I was thinking we might have word by now since Halloween is coming up. I know the other volume was announced around this time. The last thing I remember was a Facebook post a while ago saying “I thought I was out, but am being pulled back in” or along those lines. I don’t have instagram so maybe he has said something on there…
UMfan0682 06-20-2023, 01:53 PM Hey everyone:
Terror vision is re-releasing Volume One of their LP. They are also finally releasing a cassette and CD version. This is great news! Hopefully Volume 2 will follow and maybe a new Volume 3.
You can order from their website
http://www.terror-vision.com
drew790 06-20-2023, 06:42 PM Did that Volume 3 ever end up happening?
UMfan0682 06-20-2023, 10:19 PM I don’t think Volume 3 is happening as of now. I know they had a Facebook post a year or more back talking about another new album, but I think those plans were put on hold.
Also wanted to mention the CD release of Volume One just announced is from the single Ghost LP, not the 3X LP. So, it just has the select favorite cues. Maybe I can hope it is the 3X LP CD version, but from the looks of the order page it is not…
UMfan0682 06-23-2023, 09:23 PM Well, just after posting about not hearing about a new volume of UM music, Terror Vision just announced a volume 3 coming in 2024!! Can’t wait, they are working on the theme of this new release. I’m thinking maybe a variety of things or maybe missing persons???

DALLASTEXAN!! 11-08-2025, 04:58 PM coming back to this thread way too late. I got the original vinyl and love it so much. I never realized that a 2nd volume was released and there was possibly a 3rd? IDK about the third. but I would have purchased if I knew about them. I love collecting vinyl and can't find the 2nd volume anywhere.
