"Bobby's World" Creator Howie Mandel Says he's Working on a Revival

Another ’90s television property is looking to make a comeback in the age of revivals and reboots. Howie Mandel, who created and voiced the lead character in "Bobby’s World", now says he’s trying to get a comeback off the ground.

“I haven’t told anyone this, but I’m working on it. I’m working on it right now,” Mandel told EW at the NBC Universal Upfronts Presentation on Monday. “I have a meeting on Wednesday. I’m keeping my finger’s crossed. That’s what I want to do. Let’s hope — write something about it and maybe it’ll happen.”

I always thought Bobby's World was a cute cartoon!

I watched Bobby's World as a kid and I thought it was really funny and full of humor and the funniest character was Bobby's mother Martha Generic because she was so cool and had a neat accent and later I found out that Edie McClurg was the first voice actress for Martha Generic but then was replaced by Christine Ebersole in the later seasons of Bobby's World. Little did I know that after watching Bobby's World that Howie Mandel would soon be my crush and if this Bobby's World revival is successful it will be just as great as the original version. I think that this year will be a banner year for Howie Mandel with his Deal Or No Deal revival and now the Bobby's World reboot and it proves that Howie has indeed made a comeback and be known as The Comeback Kid in TV this year
