In 1992 Fox Kids gave stuntman Super Dave Osborne his own cartoon show called Super Dave Daredevil For Hire that featured Super Dave in fun adventures while doing his famous stunts. The Super Dave cartoon only lasted for one season and was produced by DIC Entertainment but it was a neat cartoon that was awesome to watch. It's a surprise you don't hear nothing much about Super Dave Osborne anymore after the demise of this cartoon because he's a great guy

I was a big fan of Super Dave's growing up, the character has been around since the early 70's, but I was introduced to him on the 80's variety show Bizarre, then later his live-action series Super Dave.
Vaguely remember the cartoon, don't remember enough of it to know if I liked it or not.

I remember the controversy around the Asian sidekicks stereotypical voice and after major complaints they had to re-record all of his dialogue. Then it was cancelled after less than a year, then there was a special in 1994 or 95. Series is highly forgettable, Super Dave is at his best on Bizarre.

You dont hear much about Super Dave because hes almost 80 and has long since retired, making only a few appearances since the late 90s.

Interesting fact: his brother is Al Brooks (of "The Simpsons" fame)

Hi, Bestie! I remeber Super Dave. But I saw him as the real Super Dave, not the cartoon. He was so funny! He was a crazy Evil Knevil who would get into the most crazy situations. He was like a cartoon come to life. Thanks for reminding me.

With the death of Bob Einstein Cartoon Network and Boomerang should air reruns of Super Dave Daredevil For Hire because it was such a funny cartoon and should be released on DVD soon in the future
