At the time of the release of the second movie in the Bill And Ted series Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey in 1991 a cartoon series aired on CBS based on Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure and was produced by Orion Pictures and followed Bill And Ted time traveling through many different adventures in their telephone booth time machine. Another thing to note is that Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves actually did the cartoon voices of Bill And Ted and while CBS first aired the series in it's first season the Bill And Ted cartoon later moved to FOX as part of the FOX Kids lineup. There was even Bill And Ted's Excellent Cereal made by Ralston/Purina released to honor the cartoon as well. It's a surprise that you do not see cartoons like this anymore because Bill And Ted's cartoon was really cool

Its definitely not available on television. You can youtube it. Just avoid the short lived live-action series of the same name.
