It's not on MeTV, AntennaTV, NickatNite, LOGO, etc. So is it running on ANY national network??

I don't think so. But it is coming soon to METV for the summer of Me on Sunday afternoons! :)

But it's different to be flipping through the channels & BOOM! Spontaneously it's on!

You can have recordings of GI going back 30 years on VHS tape. It's not the same thing as a random episode being on a certain time. If recordings were that popular then channels like MeTV, TVland, AntennaTV, etc. wouldn't even exist!

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.;) Even though most shows are on DVD I still like to watch them when they come on a TV station at a certain time. And even though I have a few DVD'S of my favorite shows , I can't afford to really buy the whole set of all the seasons, so it is nice when the retro stations play the old shows we liike! ;)

Even though I have a DVD recorder and player, I agree it's a lot easier to just tune in a show. Sometimes if I have a DVD set, I'll play that episode from DVD and tune out Antenna TV, so I can see it uncut, but like I said, it's easier to just tune in, and mute those obnoxious ads (and as I've said on other threads, those ads on Antenna TV are HORRIBLE!)

Or better yet just record them on your DVR & watch them later and just fast forward through the commercials! Many times they come on late at night or early morning when you aren't able to watch anyway.

I've been doing that lately with Too Close For Comfort & Alice, 2 of the most underrated shows of all time!
