The marathon today goes to 8PM. Tomorrow is even longer, 13 hours from 2PM-3AM. Excellent news, this will make OWN one of my favorite channels.

My listings for next weekend show no Benson on Saturday but it does get another marathon on Mother's Day from 3PM-3AM. I am guessing OWN will air a lot of Benson on weekends, but not weekdays at this time.

Own had a marathon this weekend for Benson. But it will air on Own every Sunday going forward. For whatever reason, the episodes look a lot better on Own than on Antenna on my cable system.

No, I just have MeTV. Benson was on Antenna TV when I didn't have Antenna TV.

Does OWN crunch credits?

nope not at all

On one episode I noticed the end credits were "jumping". Must have been a bad transfer to digital.

I suspect OWN does not edit the episodes as badly as some other networks. I'll have to record one and see, or does anyone know?

Bad news, 4 hours of the Benson marathon that was scheduled for May 20 have been replaced with 227. The 2-6PM eastern hours are cut, I had especially been looking forward to the three part season 3 finale from 4:30-6:00 where the governor is dropped by his party and runs for reelection as an independent. The Benson marathon now starts at 6PM with the season 4 premiere. And the 8-11 episodes still encore from 11PM-2AM, but none of the season 3 episodes originally scheduled will air now. Next weekend (Memorial Day weekend) Benson is listed from 1-8PM on Saturday and nothing on Sunday.

Pretty mad about them skipping a ton of S3. I lost Antenna TV here the night before they started running S3 on that channel. So, I was really wanting to be able to watch that season in full.

This season premiere from S4 is one of the worst Benson episodes I have seen so far. And, the show usually makes me laugh out loud. Darn.

Though, Gatling's line to that woman about "passing the buns" was pretty :lol:

I need to know if my DVR is set to keep all episodes that is why am asking.

As far as favorite characters. I love Kraus, Benson, and Clayton.
