I actually prefer Blue Swede's version of Hooked On A Feeling. Blue Swede version was a #1 hit while BJ Thomas version stalled at #5.

I agree that Devo's cover of Satisfaction isn't very good. Devo also did a cover of Secret Agent Man and that one is pretty good, I like it.

Blue Swede also did a cover of Never My Love, that one isn't very good, it's pretty bad.

In between Hooked On A Feeling and Never My Love, Blue Swede had a song on the charts titled Silly Milly. It wasn't a big hit, only reached #71 on Billboard. It's a goofy song but sounds like a perfect radio hit for the summer of 1974. I think it deserved to do better on the charts, should have been a top 40 hit.

Learning that "Ghost In This House" from Alison Krauss and the country group Shenandoah was eventually covered by Kelsi Ballerini really frosted me. That girl is too much of a teeny bopper to even think about touching something that has been done by one of the best female singers in music history.

God bless you and Alison always!!!
