Even if the sexual assaults Cosby committed in the 60s & 70s got some press attention NO major network would have touched him with a 10 foot pole. You could NEVER have a show with those kind of accusations hanging over you!

I just can't believe he got away with it for SO long!!

There's nothing lost if this show never existed because it's NOT funny. I saw some episodes back in the day but it fails horribly! Even Bill Maher, a famous comedian, said he never found this show funny either.

Sherman Hemsley TOTALLY blows away Cosby as a sitcom actor in the Jeffersons. Infinitely funnier show! So was Will Smith in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air eventhough his movies are pretty awful!

He fooled a lot of people including me. I liked TCS even though it got too preachy at times. I thought the other shows on Thursday were much better. But I loved Fat Albert which I watched every Saturday Morning and I liked I Spy too.

I think one of the reasons Cosby is so hated ( in addition to the horrible things he did) was it felt like he used us to get away with it all. All through my childhood Cosby was around in either TV shows or commercials. He was just there. You felt like you knew him. Thought he was a decent and moral person and then you find out all about this and it just is disgusting.

Fat Albert was probably the best thing he ever did but even that wasn't THAT funny. I preferred Bugs Bunny, Sylvester & Tweety, the Road Runner & Coyote, The Pink Panther & the Inspector, Heckle & Jeckle, Underdog, etc. etc.
