In 1987 a funny cartoon called The Comic Strip made it's debut in syndication. Consisting of many cartoons such as Karate Cat and Street Frogs this cartoon series didn't last long but is one of the most underrated 80's cartoons made in cartoon history

Tigersharks is the most important series from this block, basically being the third lineup in the Rankin Bass "Animal Heroes from Space" Trilogy (Thundercats, Silverhawks, Tigersharks). Many people have been petitioning Warner to release Tigersharks or The Comic strip as a whole but there is some legal issue holding them back.


Street Frogs is hands down one of the absolute WORST cartoons ever created. No doubt about it. Actually Karate Kat is pretty miserable as well but at least can be sat through.
