One person that I have done a lot of reading about and that I really admire is Winston Churchill. One thing that he was famous for was snapping back at people that snapped at him. Some of his comebacks were very cleaver! If anyone here would like some examples, they can send me a personal message and I will be happy to elaborate. I will now movie to a "Will and Grace" episode that I have seen three times. The two of them went to a baby shower given by, their friend Ellen. Because Grace never had children (at least in this version of the story), a lot of people would tend to throw that reality in her face. She felt that people were constantly making digs at her. When she got to the building where the event was held, Ellen told her how good she looked. She then went on to say that she envies childless women who have time to exercise. Grace felt that Ellen was going through the back door to get in a dig. She fired back with, "I hardly ever exercise"! She then realized how lame of a comeback that was. I guess you could say that she learned the hard way that not everyone can be Winston Churchill!
