View Full Version : I Got Antenna TV Back!
icecream 04-26-2018, 05:55 PM It is buried on channel 1181, good thing I checked the four digit channels. In a few minutes I will get to see Silver Spoons for the first time, Benson in primetime tonight, and Head of the Class for the first time later.
Too bad New Hampshire still doesn’t have Antenna TV back yet.
But congratulations though.
Svenfan1234 04-26-2018, 06:18 PM That's awesome news!

True
Svenfan1234 04-28-2018, 10:57 AM True
False. They are still great. I'll take credit crunching but full shows over Logo's hack job editing where they take many minutes out of an episode.
Plater of Everything 04-28-2018, 05:17 PM From August 2013 til February 2016 I didn't have an Antenna TV affiliate either. When I finally did get it back I didn't even care about the credit crunch because I thought the crunch was always there since the network's launch.
MRPITT 04-28-2018, 11:48 PM I am glad you got it. Great channel.
True
Get a life.

Antenna airs edited shows. Not as heavily edited as Logo, but shows that are supposed to run 24 or 25 minutes only run 22 minutes.

The distributors edit them, not Antenna TV

Not all shows are cut on Antenna. Head of the Class, Hogan Family, Growing Pains, Becker, Wings, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Murphy Brown, Soap, Gimme a Break, Webster, Dear John and My Two Dads are just a few that are full length episodes.
PhoenixAcres 04-29-2018, 05:01 PM At some point in history shows began to produce 22 minutes of content rather than 25. Maybe that has some correlation as to what shows are edited and what shows aren't.
Ryan Chamberlain 04-29-2018, 05:03 PM Lexington needs it back. I'm still so mad.
TV Guy 04-29-2018, 05:26 PM Too bad New Hampshire still doesn’t have Antenna TV back yet.
Have you tried pointing your antenna toward Portland, Maine? WCSH has Antenna TV on one of its substations.

Some shows would be 24 minutes on Antenna if it weren't for the credit crunch, making them 22 minutes. The credit crunch takes away 2 minutes I believe.

I don’t have an antenna. I have cable.

The credit crunch takes away 2 minutes I believe. It's not usually that long. When it is a split screen start the credits for the previous show go away and it is a full screen after 30 seconds to a minute, I think.

I mean both credit crunches (beginning and end) total about 2 minutes combined.
I'm going to contact Antenna TV right now.
