It just another example that the actor playing a role is not that person in real life! People just assume that they know that person from watching them on a show but they really have no idea of the real person is like!

Crosby played a CIA agent and they sometime having to kill people as their assignment, so it be okay to air it! LOL!

I do not approve about what Cosby did but I think it's just stupid to yank The Cosby Show from the lineup for these reasons, especially when someone can just go out and buy the DVDs....so what, the DVD distributors are gonna take the DVDs away from us next?! Just because it's airing doesn't mean a network is condoning his sexual assault actions. I fail to see the connection...maybe someone can enlighten me? I just see this as censorship :rolleyes:

Looks like it’s still on according to the TV One website schedule.

According to the on screen TV Guide, it was replaced at 6 pm with Living Single. Next week, it shows it at 6 am.

I didn't check to see what they're really showing; like you said, their schedule still shows it at 6 pm.

Plus, it's not fair to the other actors on the show.

Maybe it's the belief that Cosby will somehow profit from the show airing, and that's why they've taken it off the air.

They've shown The Cosby Show over and over and over again. I'm tired of it. Just like Friends and Little House on the Prairie. If you want to watch The Cosby Show, buy the DVD. Show some other shows that have not been shown every day for the last 20 years. Good riddance.

I did enjoy The Cosby Show back in the day, but now I think it's the most overrated sitcom of all time. I felt this way before the scandal. It deserves to get yanked.

Some of them may have started a year or two earlier, but likely wouldn't have lasted as long. Cheers was dead last and almost got cancelled before the Cosby halo effect came to Thursdays.

Summer reruns had already saved Cheers a season before The Cosby Show.

It had jumped from dead last to 34th from season 1 to season 2, and had been renewed for season 3 before Cosby.

This show has nothing to do with his rapes. They are mutually exclusive. How do you not see this?

So what if he's getting royalties from this? What does this have to do with his rape history? He's not profiting off anything immoral. Plus, the entire cast has to suffer because of his actions? I don't get it.

I'm not defending Cosby at all, I'm just trying to prove a point that the reason to pull his show from the airwaves is flawed because they have NOTHING to do with each other.

So, Cosby's now a convicted rapist and not merely an accused rapist, and perhaps for every person who will indeed say, "so what if he's getting royalties from this," there will be a person who says, "I can't believe your station is showing a convicted rapist's show and therefore allowing him to profit when he should be punished. I will never watch your station again!" Why risk alienating viewers for an old show that is past it's "expiry date" anyway, and reminds people of how fooled the public was by Cosby's "image" versus the reality of what he was ALLEGEDLY doing to countless women while making this show?

Is it worth it? Looks like it isn't, for all the station programmers who have removed the show from the schedule.

If you look at Bounce TV's website it says it is COMING SOON TO DISH. So it may launch soon on Dish. Dish now has a good few subchannels like Grit, Justice, Buzzr, ME TV
