I sent an email to fanclub@williamshatner.com asking if I should bug Melanie's dad, Lisabeth's dad, Leslie Carol's dad, Farla's brother, Joy's brother, Elizabeth's husband, and finally William. I then later thought of asking about the maternal grandpa for each of his grandkids and googled and asked about bugging the maternal grandpa of Kayla, Will, Grant, and Eric. I had also found out the names of his two sons-in-law and asked if I should bug Joel's father-in-law and Gordon's father-in-law. I then later got an email saying they'd run it by legal services as a potential threat when I never asked him about the kids and grandkids themselves and had asked 13 nonsense bug questions about the same dude. Anyway, I tried asking how that's a threat; but I haven't got a response. I figure that he wouldn't press legal charges against all his fans for just teasing him so I would appreciate it if fans would send him emails asking if they should bug Leslie Carol's dad, then how about Melanie's dad, and all 11 others. If this country gave us freedom of speech like the first amendment promised, he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. All I did was ask a bunch of yes or no questions.

I should say that the right way to handle something like that if it was done to me would be to tell the person to stop; and if they didn't, then maybe see about doing something. In my case, I don't have a situation where people can pinpoint yes or no questions down to just me because I have no kids; and I'm the youngest of seven kids and have four brothers. I'm also a later in life baby, but that's immaterial.
