We all know that M3S and AITF had so little in common, aside from both being CBS domestic sitcoms whose periods overlapped very briefly -- as one series ended and the other began. The fact that they offered such totally different views of family life seems to make for very few (if any) comparison opportunities.

But I thought it would be fun to try to list any actors who appeared in at least one episode of each series. (You can include “Archie Bunker’s Place” if you’d like.) Here are a couple to get things started:

Your recall was better than mine in this instance. I looked her up to see which one that was, and Jean did appear in a Season 4 episode, "The People's House."

His season 12 episode of M3S aired today on MeTV. Well-remembered from Kelsey's Bar on AITF (and also familiar to fans of The Donna Reed Show).

What did he do on Donna Reed? I do remember him from McHale's Navy.
