In Un-Togetherness Wally comes home after finding out Lorrie Ann will be unavailable all summer and finds all the stuff they will need at Lake Crescent in the hallway. Ward asks June why the box of napkins is so heavy. June says that her pressure cooker and iron are in the bottom. Iron? At a summer cottage? June will be ironing the clothes after pounding them with a rock. I’m surprised June can leave her garbage disposal.

I picked up on the iron (huh, she's gonna iron?) but I didn't notice the pressure cooker. I'm surprised the back of the car wasn't dragging on the road.

Nah, no rocks for June. She brought a washboard and took the clothes down to the lake, and ran them over the washboard. Then she brought them back and ironed them.

Ward brought a musket and shot a bear for dinner. Then June put the bear meat in the pressure cooker.

Ward said they'd been going to Lake Crescent for 11 years (correcting June, who said 10). We never got to see that pleasant-sounding place.

I hope she found a hair salon somewhere nearby, so they could freshen up her Jackie Kennedy hairdo.

LOL Yeah a cabin just doesn’t seem to be June’s type of place. When they go to Shadow Lake in Happy Weekend everyone but Ward seems to not like it. That place had all the comforts of home. If they were going to Lake Crescent for 11 years why was the Shadow Lake cabin all new to them?

June would have rather gone to The Hamptons.
