It’s rare to see Hollywood depict Christianity or Christian prayer in a good light, but CBS’s Young Sheldon (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/68501-s01e18-a-mother-a-child-and-a-blue-mans-backside/?do=getLastComment) came close this week. Still, they had to add some snark at the end, as well as twist the meaning of prayer all together. But it was nice to see a mother praying over her family in the midst of an emergency, while even her atheist son is comforted and asks her to keep praying.

Although not from Texas, I am from the South (Memphis) and identify with these characters. People from my part of the country and especially Texas are Christian and Evangelical Christian of usually the Southern Baptist or Pentecostal Holy Roller churches. Most of these people live average, mundane lives who go to church on Sunday as a social thing and because they feel a love for a Higher Power.

I thought it was sweet and appropriate.

^^^ I agree and normally, Mrs. Cooper gets on my nerves, especially when she takes the phone from Sheldon every time that he tries to take care of a problem that he has himself. First he couldn't talk to a loan officer from the bank when wanting to get money for a computer and just this past Thursday, he was trying to conquer his fear of dogs and she took the phone from him again when he was trying to hook up with the local vet. What is her deal?

God bless you always!!!
