Next month will be the start of upfront season when all the major networks will debut their new official fall TV lineups. Here are the dates for those upfronts which I found on different sites:
US NETWORKS
May 14 NBC and Fox
May 15 ABC
May 16 CBS
May 17 CW
CANADIAN NETWORKS AND SPECIALTY CHANNELS
May 30 CBC and IndieNET (including CHCH and YES TV)
June 5 Rogers Media
June 6 Corus Entertainment
June 7 Bell Media
The Bell Media group of channels includes CTV, CTV2, TSN, and Comedy, but, after this fall, it will no longer include Comedy Gold. Last summer, it was sold to a group called WOW! Entertainment that specializes in children's programming and they are expected to rebrand the station and turn it into another all-kids station like YTV and Teletoon. I will have more details after all the schedules have become final.
