Jennifer Morrison grew up in the Chicago area, earned a Theatre degree from Loyola University of Chicago, and did additional study at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. By that time she had already made her film debut, in the 1994 drama Intersection; she then had her first starring role in Urban Legends: Final Cut, in 2000. She also starred in the indie rom-com 100 Women and produced and starred in the 2006 mystery Flourish; last year she made her directing debut with Sun Dogs. She has had supporting roles in high-profile films such as Mr & Mrs. Smith and Star Trek, and will be in the upcoming remake of Superfly. Morrison is best known for a pair of television roles. She was a regular on the first six seasons of House as Dr. Alison Cameron, and also returned for the series finale. She then moved on to star as Emma Swan on seasons 1-6 of Once Upon a Time.
