Today I watched "Witness for the Persecution," and I noticed for the first time when Max was doing exercises at Dr. Bascomb's apartment the only number Max counted out loud was 138, the total number of episodes of Get Smart.
And this I've first noticed around 2003. He never said whether it was the old using-taxis-just-to-cross-the-street trick, but it at least became the case on a couple of Arthur episodes from season 2: "Go to Your Room, D.W." and "Arthur vs. the Very Mean Crossing Guard."
