Anyone ever see this TV movie from the late 80's? Raymond Burr and Robert Stack as client and lawyer. Stack plays a publisher that spends a night in a haunted hotel witnesses the death of the novelist he works for. At the beginning of the movie Stack walks through this creepy hotel at night. I swear as I was watching it I could imagine him as if he was narrating one of the ghost segments. Even the creepy music sounds exactly like what you hear during the re-enactments.
I'm guessing this movie and Raymond Burr is partly what got Stack into Unsolved Mysteries.

I like the Perry Mason style with the inimitable Raymond Burr, but that particular episode was a good deal far-fetched, even if the solution was quite good.

This entire movie was uploaded to Youtube only a few days ago and it was quite interesting to watch the two UM hosts interact, though after the first act, Robert Stack wasn't given anything to do other than sit silently at the defense table during his character's trial.
An interesting piece of trivia is that *SPOILER* the real killer who turns out to have framed Stack's character was played by Dwight Schultz. Years later, Schultz would portray Dave Davis in "Victim of Love: The Shannon Mohr Story", a made-for-TV movie about the case produced by Cosgrove-Meurer Productions. Of course, the Dave Davis-Shannon Mohr case turned out to be the first UM segment Stack ever hosted!
